Taylor has been potty trained for about 2-3 weeks night trained and all. My girls still sleep in cribs. They love it and show no interest in wanting to get out. However, Taylor cries at night to go potty, I go in and get her out and take her to the potty. Well sometimes mommy is tired and doesn't hear right away. When I come in she is devastated, has peed her bed ect. I don't want to go to toddler beds for fear of messing up naps (they still nap 1-4 daily). I am so torn.....Should i just get the toddler beds, or continue to devastate my little girls by being the reason she wets her bed sometimes. By the way she has wet the bed 3 times in the past week.

 

If she is getting distressed by the bed wetting then I think you need to make a change, I'd be worried about her regressing with using the potty as a reaction. Maybe you could move just her to a toddler bed and leave Payton in her crib? If she doesn't have her sister to play with it might be less temptation to get out. Or could you remove/lower one side of her crib so she is able to get out and use the potty? Otherwise I'd say just bite the bullet and move them both, they're older so it might not be as bad as you think.

 

I say get her a bed .. if she's old enough to wake to go potty .. she certainly is old enough to be in a bed.

 

I know you guys are right it is that I work from home and I need them to nap and when my oldest was in this "transition" it was a nightmare. I am just scared!

 

I agree, either put her in a diaper at night time (but it sounds like she doesn't want that) or get her a bed. FWIW, mine are in beds now and they still nap pretty well (although they nap in separate rooms).

 

I personally would switch to a toddler bed.

 

I would switch to beds immediately.
