I have been thinking about writing a short, lighthearted book about the crazy things that go on with twins and their families and the household. I would like to keep it under 100 pages or short enough so that it would be a fast read. It would include stories from other mothers of twins keeping accounts of things that happen that were comical. Some of the chapters would include First week home, Babies firsts, Pregnancy, etc. I would love to hear everyones opinions and if you would like to offer any other ideas that would be great. The book will be written in dedication to this board, you all have been a lifesaver for me in my desperate times.

Sound like fun. When you get the time I am sure we would all love to have a good laugh as we read. I am sure if you post an email address people would send you stories.

That's such a great idea. We have tons of those little short stories. I would love to be a part of it. I am a part time writter myself more of childrens books but still. Good thinking. I would set up an e-mail address that you can execpt stories on and I would start searching the site looking for funny stories and then PMing the writter for permission.

    The permission part is huge!!!

I would find a permission slip kind of form to use. If you want to do everything via e-mail an electronic permission slip is fine but you have to add a line requesting some personal fact like town they worn born in, maden name or mothers maden name to help protect you. A permission slip that is all electronic won't hold up in court unless it contains a security feature/ question.

    Hope that help!!!

I would buy a book like that and would love to share stories. Let us know how!

My SO thought about doing the same thing but from a man's point of view. he was there from the get go, went to every single doc appt and was in the room for the delivery. He's now a stay at home dad. He was thinking that there are alot of twin stories told by women, but what about from a mans perspective.

Not sure if he's really going to or if it was just talking.
