Would you call?

I am having some light pink spotting. I haven't had this with any other pregnancies. Is this something I need to call for, or do I just wait and see if it gets worse?

I would call just to be on the safe side. I would actually ask for an emergency appointment to get checked out. Hope everything is fine.

Sounds like implantation bleeding...but I would call just to ease your nerves...good luck!

I would call, just in case. It will reassure you and that's worth it in and of itself!

I would call. When I called early in this pregnancy the doctor/nurse asked me if I'm experiencing any symptoms of preterm labor. Since I wasn't she said to put on a pad and call back in a few hours to see if it's gotten heavier or any other symptoms emerged. They may tell you to come in the next day or wait until your next scheduled appt; either way they would note it in your medical chart.

Thanks for the advice! I did call, they just wanted me to try and take it easy (no lifting). They also want me to come in tomorrow and get a blood pregnancy test that way if something more is to happen they will have a baseline to work with.

    Thanks!

I was told that "no bleeding is normal" (even though it technically is in most cases). This is because the doctor's just don't want to take a chance. I bled RED blood and in what seemed like a significant amount, following intercourse.... I freaked - called the doctor on a weekend and the nurse I spoke with said not to worry unless is became dark and heavy - and to follow up with the doctor on Monday.
If the bleeding isn't constant and accompanied with/by pain, especially in the 1st trimester, it is usually nothing to be too concerned about but I would call your doctor just to be safe.
