would you call?

I noticed that this morning the babies aren't moving that much. I have gotten some small nudge and pushes here or there. A butt pushes out and wiggles and then stops. Maybe a small poke from a foot up high or a hand down lower. Being 36wks I don't get the real big movements anymore of course but usually it's harder than this. They just seem really calm! I guess maybe they're resting/sleeping??? I went for a NST yesterday and they did have to buzz A once. Her heart rate was fine but she was just calm and wasn't moving much. She moved after that without a problem. The nurse said everything was fine. Afterwards they checked their fluid and I saw their heartbeats again. Again they said everything looked good. But they have calmed down over the last couple of days. I thought I was in early labor yesterday morning because I was cramping really bad like menstrual cramps and into my back but they stopped. Could this be a sign they are ready to come out or do I need to call and get monitored again? It's kinda freaking me out. I am drinking a coke now hoping they start moving more. My husband gets home early today (around 130) so if they want me to be seen I can go in when he gets home. Or even have my in-laws come over to watch the kids if I need to go in sooner. Am I being too paranoid?????

No, you are not being paranoid. You can never be too cautious. If it were me, I'd call, even if it was just for my peace of mind. Keep us posted.

I am sure everything is fine, :good: but there is nothing wrong with being proactive and if it makes you feel better then yes-call, go in and check on your babies!! :babyflips: :babyflips:

    Keep us posted!!

I agree with PP, call and check on those babies. I am sure everything is fine, but its better to be on the safe side at this stage of the game. Good luck momma!

I just put a call into the doctor office. I am waiting for them to call back. Since they have moved a little this morning I am not sure what they will do.

Okay so he said since I had a normal NST yesterday and they have moved some this morning it's unlikely anything is really wrong. But said he wants me to take it easy then in about a half hour or an hour eat/drink something sweet and see what happens. At that point if they don't respond then call back and they will have me come in for another NST. He said they may be slowing down because they are getting close to making their appearance.

I was going to say babies slow down before labor and there is probably no room, I know I felt like that. Hope they come soon.

I ate lunch and then rested. They started moving around then. Well moving around as much as they can for me being 36wks. But it was more of their normal movement. I feel a lot better. Now they have calmed down again. Seems like they used to move all day long. Maybe this means their coming soon.
