My twins are 1 week and 3 days old and we are having a hard time getting them to sleep at night. I'm thinking of putting them in one bassinet hoping they will comfort each other. Has anyone tried this? I'm worried about what I should do as far as sleep positioners- do I still use it- not that there is any room but maybe a rolled towel in between their bodies. I'm going to do a trial run for their next nap w/ bassinet next to me so I can see how they react but was wondering if anyone tried it or advises against it?

We swaddled the girls and put them in the top part of the pack n play which acted as a bassinet. We let them sleep like that at night for 7 weeks, until one started wiggling and annoying her sister too much.

We swaddles and put them together in the top portion of the pnp too. It worked well for use they seemed to settle better together until they wiggled in their sleep.

We put ours together in a regular bassinet until they got too big...maybe a couple of weeks? They loved to cuddle! I can't believe how big they are now! We just put them in separate cribs... :cray:

We put ours in a cradle for the first few weeks they were home. They loved it! They also slept in the same crib until they were 10 months old and now share a room.

Mine slept together in a bassinet for several weeks. They also snuggled up and DD would happily suck on DS's head.

Ours slept in bouncers the first three weeks. After that, they slept together in bassinet portion of the pack n play for four weeks. I do think they like being close to each other :) .

Mine slept together in a co sleeper until they were 3 months old. When they started to annoy each other, we seperated them.

For the first number of weeks ours slept anywhere they would sleep. Sometimes we would even swaddle them and put them in a laundry basket together to sleep. When they were in the hospital for the first week of their lives we had them sharing a bassinet and the hospital thought that was fine. I actually wouldn't put a towel between them, I would just let them snuggle up to each other (so long as they were swaddled).
    Congrats!

Oh yeah, the position, we just wedged them in there on their backs, or slightly on their sides

We did the top of the pac-n-play, the two of them together...and actually for naps, they still cuddle up together in the pac-n-play. They only sleep apart at night b/c Dillon moves so much. For my boys, napping together leads to better naps.
