would u get a used combi?

There is a used combi up on craigslist. It is $60. The owner says it still has life in it, I am going to check it out tonight. I have almost 6 month old b/g twins and am debating if I should try used or just give in and get a new one. We already have a double snap n go, which is about done for us, a double jogger, and a tandam that is heavy and was given to us from friends who outgrew it- its a kolcraft. I want a quick stroller for about town since the snap n go is really too small but we keep trying to get a bit more out of it.

The combi has been used for about 3 years according to the owner...i am curious if it is pretty done by that point? any of you driven the life out of your combi? TIA!

 

I sold my combi for $50 after 4 years. It was still in great shape.

 

If it still looks in good shape, I would scoop it up! I've been using one for about 3.5 years and it still has plenty of life left in it. IMO, they are good strollers.

 

I would too. However, I went looking at two used strollers on Craigslist the last two days (one Chicco and one Jeep) and they were NOT in as good of shape as advertised, so I passed. I am currently looking at a Schwinn. One was $60 and one was for $40, the Schwinn is $250. Just have a good look over it. I just bought a used Playard and it was in GREAT shape for only $35. We plan to use it as a travel one and to use outside by our pool under our patio for when we are swimming in the pool (it is smaller than the normal sized ones).

 

I did get it. It is still in good but used shape. I figure if we can get through with it at least 6 months we've done super but probably we'll end up using it longer which will be great.

I've gotten some great stuff off Craigslist for the babes as it seems a never end need for the next sized baby trap - a second exersaucer etc.
