would like to do something nice...

whenever we go to the docs office the receptionist/nurses always give us formula to leave with. money is super tight....otherwise i would go to the bakery and get them a tray of cookies.

would it be ok if i made them a plate of coookies?
any other suggestions to show our appreciation and keep the formula coming, lol?

 

I think making a tray of cookies is a really nice thing to do for them, you could also give them a card with a handwritten thank you note. I am sure that the receptionists and nurses don't get the thanks like they should so that will mean a lot to them!

 

I think baking them something is a great idea & I'm sure they would love it! That's very thoughtful of you!

everyone loves cookies! do you and your husband qualify for WIC? it has been a lifesave for me and DH, since he is the only one who brings home an income which is only part-time. We do have to buy extra cans a month, but only about 2. Saves us a ton!

 

I think homemade cookies show that you took the time to make them for them and I think would be more special to them.

 

Definitely some sort of food!

I always prefer homemade cookies to store bought! Sounds like a great idea.

 

In July I showed up at our Pedi's office with Milk Shakes from Steak N Shake for all of the staff! It was a huge hit and they were very appreciative. Steak N Shake has "Happy Hour" every day between 2-4 pm and they are half price!

I love our Pedi's office.

 

i worked in a medical office for years and we always LOVED it when patients brought in special homemade treats for us! cookies are a great idea!

 

Food is always a big hit.
WIC is a really good program for those strapped for cash, I used it when I was a single mom. It provided me with free formula and milk, eggs. and cheese.
