OH. MY. GOODNESS. Put a fork in me I'm done!
Seriously.....worst day ever that I can remember! I couldn't leave the house because 1) it was rainy and 2) we were having something delivered and they gave us a 5 hr time frame...and showed up at the end of it.
My guys are SOOOOO incredibly fussy lately I am going nuts. They are not only teething but when they are on the floor they are SO frustrated because they want to crawl and can't so it's been constant fussiness for the entire week. they also have not been taking their last naps of the day(they are fighting it) and so by the end of the day they are unbearable. Feeding them is a chore lately...Ryan does this blowing thing so everytime after I put food in his mouth he blows and food goes all over me. Their hands are constantly in their mouths making feeding nearly impossible as well.
And to top it off, Ryan wouldn'tt take his last bottle of the day but when I went to put him to bed he SCREAMED bloody murder. Treid bottle again, wouldn't take it...UGH.

And the final straw is that we are leaving for our first out of town trip tomorrow and I've had to do ALL the packing for the babies myself and I'm a nervous wreck about taking them on a plane with the way they have been this week.

    Ok, vent over.
I do love my guys SOOO much and last weekend I was bragging to everyone how good they are and how I love this age because it is getting easier....hahha, jokes on me. UGH.....I need a day off.

Yes yes yes! I know this! Mine are doing so much of the same stuff and driving me insane. :hug99: I swear I could have written at least half of this from the past week's antics with mine. What is with the constant whining when they are on the floor? I think they're tired or something? But then lately they've been lifting up their arms to be held so I think that may be it. I wish I could figure it out or they would crawl or something soon. ;)

Good luck with the trip. I hope it goes well. We are taking our first trip this week as well, but we're driving about 400 miles. I'm a nervous wreck about it. Are you flying with them alone? Have fun :)

Oh I'm so sorry!! I hate those days!!
Maybe they know you're going on a trip so they are getting out all of their fussyness now :p So they'll be perfect little angels for the next week!!
I do hope you have a great trip and they feel better soon! :hug99:

oh, thank goodness mine aren't the only ones! UGH. Mine have been doing the tugging on my pants and reaching to be lifted as well and I feel terrible that I can only hold one at a time. :( Maybe it will get better when they are crawling but then again, we will be more tired I bet!
Thank goodness I am not flying alone, DH is going with me. I think if I was going alone, with the way they've been this week, I would cancel! Good luck on your trip as well. Mine love to sleep in the car mostly, hopefully yours will too.

Oh, another thing that really ticked me off today was my step mom who happens to be a flight attendant emailed me and says, just so you know, passangers get really upset when there are crying babies and don't love them like we love those boys so make sure you keep them occupied during the flight.
HUH? DUH!!?!!! No, I'm going to make sure to ignore them and let them scream the whole time....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr............and like I really have control over their crying and fussiness at this point. UGHHHHHHHH

I am so sorry that your day was bad, I hope it got better!

I have to say that (and maybe I'm rare) but crying babies on plane/in restaurant/mall/whereever just never bothered me. Babies cry. People need to deal with it, you know? Heck, we all cried when we were babies. Just ask my Mom about me :)

Have a fun and safe trip, don't worry about the other people on the plane!

Ugh. Maybe they'll be so tired from their cranky day that they'll sleep for you the entire trip! :)

FWIW, the period just before they're crawling is the absolute worst -- they're so frustrated that they can't do anything but complain to you. It improves by leaps and bounds as soon as they get a little mobility....so hang in there.

And, if you suspect teething, I would probably do a little preventative Motrin before getting on the airplane! (And, bring a box of chocolate, and pass it around to everyone sitting around you, and apologize in advance for any crying. A friend of mine with older twins has been doing this for years, and swears by it...)

We were in the same boat 2 months ago and like Becca said right before crawling they are very fussy. Well DD was 3 months ago since she started at 6 months crawling. But I know everyone says it is a phase and hang in there but it is! Hugs to you and kudos for going on a trip!

Melissa I hope they slept well and you got a break last night!

I am right there with you! I dont think anyone is teething right now but Sofie is trying to crawl and gets so mad when she has to do anything but be on the floor.

Hopefully they all figure it out soon and we can have a few good days before the next thing! ;)

See we're really not alone!!! :p Fortunately DD stopped the spitting when eating this week and DS never did it for some reason. Of course they both keep gagging on anything that has lumps or chunks.

Melissa - In my experience when you fly around the holidays and even on the weekends there are a lot of people flying with children and other passengers should be prepared for it. When I came back from Denver last spring around spring break on a Sat we had a plane full of kids and babies. Most of them did quite fine and everyone was very tolerant. IMO if you want a childfree plane ride then go first class or not around family travel times!! :p I'm sure it will all be fine. Oh and mine do sleep in the car so we are really counting on that. Thanks for the well wishes!
