Hopefully no one from child services or whatever will come over and smell Jack as he sleeps tonight. I am down to one set of pjs for both Jack and Lily and I usually wash them every couple of days. His pjs seemed fine this morning so I tossed them aside into the appropriate drawer for the day. As we were doing our little nighttime routine thing I thought that I smelled urine. I decided it was probably the diaper genie and made a mental note to change it right away. Then I picked Jack up to carry him into his room after putting on his pjs and it became apparent that it was actually my son that smelled of urine.

Great, he must of leaked through to his pjs last night and I did not notice it today. With no choice but to put him to bed as is, I laid him down in his crib and guiltily walked off. I was planning on running to CHildrens Place on Monday for new pjs but I am stuck for tonight.

Oh brother, I hope the smell of amonia (or whatever urine smells like) is not dangerous for Jack to be breathing all night long. I don't really have anything that fits to change him into. And if it is bad for him, please let me know.

I'm sure he will survive! If you can't get to the store soon though, you can always just put them in sweatpants or shorts and a t-shirt for bedtime.

they sleep in footed pjs and I am a wimp about trying anything else for fear of jinxing the sleeping. That being said, I am sure it would have been better than pee smelling pjs. I was so amazed at the smell of it all that I think I was unable to think straight!!!!

I've had to put my children in other sleepwear before and it has not affected their sleep. Just don't forget the socks if they are used to footed pajamas. Happy Shopping tomorrow!
