I have noticed in the past in some photos that one or the other of my daughter's eyes seem to turn in slightly. Now I feel like I am noticing it more not just in photos but when I look at her and it now just seems to be her left eye. From what I have read it is normal for this to happen up to 6 months but then after that time if it is doing that then it could indicate a problem. And if the problem is not addressed and corrected it could lead to a lazy eye. Here is a recent photo

I'm just so upset to think that my baby may need to get glasses now. Has anyone else gone through this or know anything about this? Thanks for your replies!

 I would take her to your Ped. If he or she is concerned, they can and give you a referral for a Pediatric Eye Doc. I do notice it slightly in the picture that you provided.

I do notice it slightly in that picture as well. I would take in her in to see your Pediatrician and they can probably refer you to an eye specialist. My guess is that she may have to wear an eye patch over her good eye for a few hours/day to get the other eye to do more work and that should hopefully correct the problem. Good for you for noticing early!! They are both so cute by the way!!

I would talk to your doctor about it & they will refer you on if they need to. It is only slightly visible to me, it might turn out to be nothing.

I would talk the ped. Hannah had some issues until she was about 3 months and we were referred to a ped ophthalmologist. Her issues cleared up on their own with time.

I posted this picture of my son Eli (left) when he was 5 months old. You can see his eyes are a little funky looking.

I had an appointment with a pediatric ophthalmologist, and there was nothing wrong. A lot of babies have a low bridge on their nose and when they are looking inward like that it's because they can actually see over their nose. The doctor can tell if they are looking over their nose or truly have a muscle issue in their eye based on the reflections of light in the pictures, so you should take a few pictures with you.

I can't get the photo big enough to see the reflections clearly, but it should only happen when they are looking to the side if it's just the growing into their nose problem.

Good luck, either way, it's pretty easy to fix.

My boys took pictures like that too, but it wasn't every one. Maybe about 4-5 a month (and I take about 30 pics a day). I didn't wind up asking the ped b/c she checks their eyes every time, but I wish I had. They are fine now though. We were really worried about their speech at that time so it kind of went to the back of my mind in the worry department. I think any concern is worth a call to the ped!
