Working on their one-year montage

Okay, so I've got about 10,000 photographs (seriously, this isn't an exaggeration) of my twins that I've been sorting through to make my video montage for their first birthday, and I can't stop bawling. Roman sleeping nakey in his crib with his diaper next to him. Joel screaming in the bathtub the first time we gave him a bath. The two of them staring at the food they threw on the floor the first time I gave them beets. Chilling in their bumbos looking like the two old grouches from the Muppet Show. a few days old, clutching each other's hands in the bassinet. Sitting, standing, crawling, climbing. Matching baby bums in cloth diapers. Sitting on top of the dog. twenty tiny toes. Snuggling in a crib together.


Somebody make this time thing stop already.

 

I totally know what you mean - the link to my montage is in my siggy - I made it over months, but still today if I watch it with the music on I'll cry.

 

Awwww!!!! I can't wait to see the montage!!! I have been so bad with keeping up with pictures on Flickr. The boys don 't like it when I am on the computer LOL

I love the montages! I have one in my siggie too. LOL
My sister makes things like that professionally and is working on my first year one as we go along. I love her wedding montages etc. Can't wait to see what she comes up with. It was loads of fun putting the one together that I did though.
I also enjoyed watching the one from the pp.
Can't wait to see yours!

i had such a great experience in making my montage
it was the first time i actually gave myself credit for the chaos that was that whole first year
i think as moms when we go through things we just tend to pile it up on top of the heap, and never really acknowledge how well we managed that heap for so long
and i got great responses from people for spreading a positive message
i highly recommend everyone doing it
it allowed me to forgive myself for not being in shape yet and not taking night classes, etc
i saw all the reasons why i had not done those things
and i was really proud of the outcome in the end

I know, how can these babies be coming up on 1-year???? I just gave away a TON of newborn through 6 month clothing to my cousin who is having a baby boy in February - and I cried just looking at the teeny, tiny clothes!
