Lately, Nolan has taking to imparting bits of wisdom on me and Doug, and even Meghan.

A couple of weeks ago, Meghan and I were headed out to go shopping. He stopped us at the door and said "Wait, I have to tell you something". We waited and he told us "Don't walk in the street!" Okay, buddy!

At dinner the other night, he told me "Don't spill anything on your beautiful red sweater"

Another time, I was heading out in the car by myself. He told me as I left "Make sure you don't hit anybody with your car"

This morning, as Doug was leaving he told him "Don't crash into any silver cars"

And my favorite was when there was a pizza box on the table last week. He said "You have to move it, so I can see your beautiful face!"

My 2-year-old constantly reminds me to keep the stroller on the sidewalk and not walk in the street.

But I love the "your beautiful face" comment. Sounds like he's recently learned the word "beautiful"! :)

Hmm, if I am remembering correctly this isn't the first time Nolan has dished out complimentary comments about his beautiful mommy. Seems he is rather taken with you -- and that couldn't be any sweeter.

That's so nice! I, on the other hand, was told this morning by Clarissa "I don't like your hair like that", and yesterday "I don't like the way you look". Hmm . . .

At least Elliot is a complimenter - he keeps telling DH "I like your new haircut", and to me it's always "I love you mommy" - about 20 times a day at random times (which is better than any compliment!)
