It never fails everytime I put the shoes or socks on they take them right back off.... Sometimes I am lucky to get them to the car but when we arrive at our destination no shoes and no socks!!!

Does anyone have any tips for them keeping them on? Emma has learned to walk and I want to let her down but not in bare feet! And to top it off it is soooo cold out there and i don't want there feet getting cold.....

Any advice or am I doomed to fight out shoes and socks?

Have you tried Robeez? We LOVED them with our first and just started putting them on the twins daily.

I'm right there with you! Especially Carley - once in the car seat - everything on her feet come off. She hates shoes. I just put those really soft shoes on them right now - like moccosins - but she cries every time I put the on her feet and I so need her to get used to wearing shoes. No advice - sorry - just a "I'm right there with you!"

Robeez look neat but how easy are they to get on. They look like they will stay on but hard to get on.

Same problem here and I've tried a bunch of different brands of socks. I only have one pair of shoes that stay on.

I was going to say Robeez. Even though my boys walk, if we go to the store where I know they will be in their stroller, I will put their Robeez on instead of regular gym shoes. My boys wear them in the house for slippers.

They take a second to put on. You just stretch them in the front and they slide right on...faster then other shoes actually.

No answers, but if it helps, mine don't do this as much as they used to. I just put them in shoes that are easy to put back on (because even if they're hard to get on, like lace-up shoes, they still manage to get out of them).

Robeez are easy to get on, they just stretch over the ankle. Target has a version of them called Bobux (sp??) for half the price of Robeez that are every bit as cute. My boys loved their Bobux.

Robeez are great. Easy to get on, hard for the beebs to get them off.

Also, Zutano makes these cozy fleece booties that snap around the ankles and they are fabulous. :) They stay on very well also.

I've been fighting with my 22 month old & his shoes for almost a year now. We've lost several single shoes because he manages to kick one off at the mall or wherever we happen to be. The socks have just started coming off in the last couple months. I pull them up as far as they will go, but he still manages to wiggle them off. As far as the shoes go, I've tried tie & velcro. I don't think it makes any difference. We always put at least the socks on before we get out of the vehicle, but I won't let him walk anywhere outside without shoes. I'm hoping he'll put it together that he can't walk outside with no shoes & stop kicking them off, but I'm not sure if he's capable of doing that yet. Anyway, I hope the twins are better about keeping shoes on than their big brother is!!

My older one was like this -- we'd go somewhere in the dead of winter, and I'd get *looks* from other parents, because she'd be in warm clothes, with completely bare feet. She even tore off her Robeez....

I was going to suggest the Target version, too, if you haven't tried them -- much cheaper and almost as good! They are not hard to get on at all, but unfortunately if your kiddo is like mine, not hard to get off, either.
