So, we decided it was finally time and the girls will be in toddler beds for the first time tonight. I'm starting to get a little nervous about it. Wish us luck!

Good luck! I had no problems moving any of my girls into toddler beds. Granted, they moved one at a time, but Ellie and Joey share a room and they sleep well together.

Good luck. I'm scared for that day. We tried beds while camping over Memorial Day weekend and they had the hardest time sleeping. Which is huge when they normally sleep 12 hours with no problem. Luckily mine haven't figured out how to climb out of their cribs yet so we're waiting for that...

    GOOD LUCK!!! :)

It was bad the first week, but mine are a little younger than yours. They didn't competely understand they had to stay in their beds, but it's better now. Took us a couple of months. I wanted to wait as long as I could, but one of the girls fell out once and then she kept climbing over her side into her sisters bed.
    Wishing you luck.

Goodluck! Mine were 2.5 when I transitioned them and they did great. Now, about 2 weeks after that, they figured they could get out of bed and "play" (even though there is nothing in there to play with) and that took a bit of getting used to and getting them back in bed, etc. But, it's been 8 months now and we only have a few occasions where they take advantage of NOT being contained in a crib. For us, it was a VERY easy transition.

So, life happened yesterday and DH simply couldn't have the toddler beds ready last night and we had to postpone the transition to tonight. The girls were not very happy-they were looking forward to their princess beds as they called them. We bought Little Tikes cottage toddler beds off of craigslist for both of them and Jessica declared them princess beds so it must be so! Lol. She is very much into anything princess related even though the only exposure to Disney Princesses they've had is pull-ups.

Tonight hasn't been too bad. They usually fuss for just a few minutes and go to sleep but Katelyn carried on for about 30 minutes. She was worried about her "baby" bed and where it was. We reassured her and she finally calmed down. Jessica just digged the "princess" bed and was good to go. We'll see how it goes the rest of the night and in the am. DH insisted on putting a gate on their door so we'd have no wandering girls while we slept. I might have monkeys trying to climb out in the morning!

Good luck! I'm getting ready to do the transition too. I've been saying that for about 2 months, but I keep holding off on it. I'm soo chicken. They haven't successfully climbed out of their cribs yet, only pack & plays.
