    Good Luck Jackie!!

It took Michael a good 3 weeks to get used to it, and he still sometimes rolls out of bed. Mikayla adjusted very well. Good luck and let us know how it goes!!

Ok, the beds are all set up, the dressers are out of the room & it is vacuumed! It's bedtime right now, but they are bouncing off the walls/beds! Yikes! What has my dh gotten me into!!!

Ok, scratch this. DH came down, just as I thought it was going to be a promising night and said, no, let's wait until they are feeling better (they had a rough night last night because of nose colds). So, now that their routine is shot to heck, I'm having a hard time with settling Audrey down. I think Clayton may be ready for the bed switch, but not Audrey. We'll see what happens. I snuck out of their bedroom right now and they are playing.

Yikes. I agree, be consistent. We switched at that age, but they were in separate rooms so we really did not have too many problems. I am anxious to hear how it finally went!!!

I wa sabout to post the SAME thing. I Just got the girls' room done and since I'm home tomorrow with them, I think we are going to go ahead and move them. Them sleeping in there at night doesn't seem like it will be a problem b/c it's dark when they go to bed, but I'm WORRIED about nap time tomorrow...espeically since there is stuff I need to get done. But, there isn othing in their new room other than the beds with the side rails...so we shall see. Best of luck to us both!

We tried toddler beds right after the older twins turned 2. It was not a good experience. Charlie would fall out almost every night. We would find him under Thomas' bed or beside his bed in the floor. I think he would get confused and try to stand up like he did in his crib. After 3 weeks of trying the beds, we finally switched to a queen-size aerobed on the floor. This way if they fall out, it isn't far enough to hurt them. However, they can still get out of bed like a toddler bed. It has really worked well for us. They like sharing a bed. Not sure how this will work later when they do get there own beds, but it works for now!
