wish me luck

    lets hope the new doctor i picked isnt as mean as the last practice i went to. and i know i may be pushing my luck here, but it would be super nice if they did an u/s today...and maybe even once a month... :)

    Good luck! Cant wait to hear how it goes. I bet they will do an ultrasound.

    woohoo! i couldnt have asked for a better appt! the doc was WONDERFUL! sat and talked to me for a good 1/2 hour, let me know what to expect and what MAY happen, just so im not surprised if it does happen.
    -he wants me on moderate bedrest from 20-24wks til delivery.
    -they SUGGEST a c-section but if both babies are head down or 1 is head down i have the choice. his reasoning behind it was good, and i think i may just go with a c-section. my mom had 8 of them and she's just fine. i will do my research though.
    -my uterus is at my belly button, which he said is about an inch or so higher than it would be for a singleton.
    -i go in !!!THREE WEEKS!!! to find out the sexes! woohoo!!
    -my next appt. is in 3 weeks (instead of 4 like the old doc)

    and the best part....
    -i got to see them!!! lol. he says, im going to do an u/s because its too difficult to distinguish hbs. i told him he had just made me the happiest person in the world. he laughed and said, oh its just a little handheld machine with a 4x4inch screen. lol i didnt care!!! i saw 2 hbs, and i saw 2 heads, and the screen size and the angle didnt let me see much else. oh, i saw a spine, and they both moved a wee bit, but i dont care! lol i saw them both and thats all i wanted.

    yippy for wonderful docs!

    That is GREAT! He sounds a lot like my doc. She uses her old U/S machine to visually see HBs too. I am SO GLAD you got to see your little ones!!! Congrats!

    Yay! I'm glad you were able to switch to a doc you're comfortable with. Hurray for ultrasounds; they're all that kept me sane while pregnant - nothing like a visual reminder of why we have to suffer so much LOL
