Wish me luck...

Hi all, I've haven't been able to get on much these days with not getting access and dealing with Ethan, but know this is the best place to go for lots of well wishes and prayers. Ethan has had a few tremor/shaking episodes in the last week and we are scheduled for an EEG on Monday.

Please wish me luck I can get him to fall asleep for this procedure (as we call him our Energizer Bunny) and prayers that the results will come back normal. I purposefully haven't gone on-line to do research because I will make myself totally crazy in the process and I need to be strong for him right now. I will deal with the research once I know what I'm dealing with (if anything). He hasn't had an "episode" in a few days so that is good.

I posted this on the 1-5 board because I think you guys can relate to trying to get a 25 month old to fall asleep and be still for an hour after only allowing him 4 hours of sleep the night before and no nap the day before . That means Jackson won't be sleeping either . I'm wishing the techs at the hospital lots of luck Monday morning.

Anyway, wishes and/or prayers are very welcome.

i went through eeg's with one of my twin boys. He as about the same age when he had his second one. The first one was at about 3 months old but came back negative. The second one showed definite seizure activity but it was not focal, which is a good thing. They told me one of two things could happen-that he would progress to grand mal seizures or that he would outgrow them. Well- he has not had one in a long time as far as we know. I fear he has them while sleeping but he shows no signs of any problems. As far as getting him to sleep during it- I am RN and work nights so am used to staying up. I got him up very early night and we played-he did great. And the tech let me hold him against me during that part of the eeg and he fell fast asleep. Good luck to you. :itwins_boys:
