a few days ago, i started a thread about what to put in the diaper bag when the twins are newborns. of course, wipes are a given. but how many? i've seen those thin 'travel' wipes cases, and they seem like they dont hold that many wipes, especially for twins. is it really enough? or do you take wipes out and put them in a ziplock bag? any other suggestions? thanks.

I get wipes from Costco (Kirkland brand) and they come in these 'refill packs' of 80 wipes. Even though it's a refill pack, it has a flip-top, snap-shut lid to keep the wipes moist. I keep one of those packs in my diaper bag! (I tried the travel containers, and found that I had to refill them every couple of days!).

I buy the wipes that come in a soft plastic thingy for travel (like the costco brand ones). Its not the hard plastic packaging that we use at home as a dispenser, but a soft one. I think all brands have them, I am using the Lanisoh ones & it comes with 80 wipes.
I also like the Seventh Generation ones & I think they have around 50 wipes in the package.

i use a thin case just for short outings.
I usually rip the wipes in half because the full wipe is just to big for such a little bottom! and it means i have twice the amount of wipes.

I used to fill 2 of those thin cases with wipes. My girls poops are pretty solid now so I just bring one (we're not usually out for that long). :)

DITTO! LOVE them! It's easier than to keep having to refill a travel case. I just always have a package of the Kirkland wipes on hand. It's around $15/box and there are 788 or something like that in the box.
