wipes recommendations?

I've always used Huggies wipes & love them. But recently dd developed a rash that the dr thought was an allergic reaction, probably to her diapers. We've tried all different brands & although it's gotten better at times, it's never completely cleared up. So I thought, perhaps it's a reaction to the wipes & not the diapers?

I normally get the unscented kind (although I had my mom get me some recently & she might have gotten the Aloe kind). But knowing how sensitive my skin is, I'm not surprised if she's inherited that.

Is there another brand I should try?

We used the Pampers Sensitive which are a little thinner/softer than the Huggies, you might try that. We used the Huggies Naturals for hands...and still do.

We use Parents Choice Hypoallergenic. Ethen had a rash in the hospital and wouldnt go away. When we got home we changed diaper brands and it still stayed. Then we changed wipes and within a few days it was clearing up.

    I love Target brand wipes!

I've tried the Wal-Mart brand, Parent's CHoice, before, and they were so thick compared to other brands we'd used, that they made my daughter bleed "down there" because they were so rough!

Both of my girls have had diaper rashes that were blamed on wipes too. We actually make our own now using paper towels. Stack up paper towels in your old diaper wipe plastic container. Then pour in a mild soap solution made with water and whatever baby soap you use. The paper towels get wet like wipes and you have no more skin reactions. You can also just use wet paper towels or wet washcloths with no soap.

We use the seventh generation wipes. I order a bulk size box of them through amazon with free shipping. My kids had a lot of issues with rashes. TONS! I realized that it might be the diapers. My doctor insisted I try cloth diapers. I did and have LOVED them ever since. They are super easy! I bought fuzzibunz (www.fuzzibunzonline.com) and they are awesome. I only bought 12 (6 for each of them) and wash them every night. I switched about 2.5 months ago. Suprisingly our water bill hasn't increased. I at least expected that. Anyway, they don't have rashes and seem really comfortable in them. Something to think about.
