Will we ever get there?

They were doing pretty well while I was still pregnant. Zack had it down well, and was going pee pee and poo poo in the potty, but not everyime he had to. I bought big boy undies and they were excited about it. Then they stayed with my mom while I was in the hospital for a week, and now things have regressed. They aren't interested in it at all anymore, and I guess I haven't been as pro-active as I should be... but things have been so busy lately!!

Help!!

When is the typical time kids are potty trained? I feel like a failure!!

 

Jamie, my girls are just getting to it now and they are 4 months older than your boys. Hang in there! They'll get interested again. I admit to bribing them with M&Ms but they aren't requiring it anymore, so I don't give them every time. Although I'd still pay 3 for a poopie!

 

Jamie, they will get there. We did a potty chart for Caroline. When she peed on the potty she got one sticker when she pooped she got 2. We set small goals, like when she reached 5 stickers small treat, 10, something else, 20 Chuck E Cheese, etc. That seemed to work well. Hang in there!

MY SON STILL HAS A BINKI BECAUSE ITS NOT WORTH THE STRESS OF NOT SLEEPING.. BECAUSE HES NOT SLEEPING.. HE WILL GIVE IT UP BEFORE COLLEGE..

SAME WITH POTTY TRAINING.
I REFUSE TO FORCE EM TO GO.. THEY WILL GO IN TIME.. DONT STRESS YOURSELF..

I WOULD MUCH RATHER THEM HAVE ONE THEN SCREAM FOR HOURS!!
