I am not sure where to post this question but decided start here.

I am planing to buy the First wheels city twin stroller but it would be available only in August 2009 in Canada,
so we decided to wait until that .I will have my babies the latest on 6/30.
we bought Kolcraft stroller where both of them can sleep in there car seats but I am against it for the regular outdoor sleeping.
and I am thinking to put them both in one bassinet from my Bugaboo.
I tried to remember and think they are very small and should be fine together. at least they will be sleeping on the flat surface.

My two slept in the basinette together until they were about 3 weeks. Then we moved them to one crib.

Mine slept together for a couple months, but it was a very square bassinet, so wider than a lot of them I've seen. They were both in the co-sleeper bassinet for probably 5 months, too.

Mmm, I don't think mine would have fit in the Bugaboo bassinet together. It wasn't too big for my oldest, let alone twins. I guess it really depends on the size, luckily it's a fairly square bassinet so that should be in your favor.

BTW, have you seen the Firstwheels in real life? I have, and although it looks like the Bugaboo (which I had too) the quality feel is nothing like it ... just to keep in mind. I thought it was pretty flimpsy, and still not cheap. Also it comes apart in 3 pieces (like the Bugaboo comes apart in 2 pieces, which I thought was the only drawback of that stroller, and I think the reason they developped the Bee).

Mine slept 'together' only for 3 months---then they were too mobile/grabby/etc to be together. They would not have fit in a bassinet at all (they had apnea monitors) with all their 'gear'.

No I didn't but from anything else I saw I still like it. and about stroller coming apart into 3 pieces this is the part I like :) my kolcraft is coming apart into 3 pieces as well. it allow it to pack it to car compact way. where I have space ( we bought minivan so I hope it wouldn't be the problem at all)
about wheels this is one of the reason we didn't order it from UK and decided to wait until end of august. as soon as I order it from UK i lost warranty but if I do it from Canada I still have my warrenty through distributor. and I am really against sleeping in car seat person. If they will not fit in one bassinet in bugaboo I would probably buy 4 wheels for another bugaboo I have chasis and frame and will take my sister bassinet but I don't have wheels so at least I can put them in separate strollers on my porch so they can sleep outside. and might be once an awhile will go with them in carseats inside Kolcraft.

I really wanted that Bugaboo would come up with twins stroller in 2009 but might be I still have chance in 2010:) ?

I agree with you on the car seat position. Something I wasn't used to in Europe at all. Every baby goes in a bassinet and mine loved it! I've heard a lot of gossip about a Bugaboo double (I've spoken to people who work there since it's a Dutch stroller) but nothing so far. The Firstwheels is very versatile. My guess with the Bugaboo bassinet they could possibly fit for 3-6 weeks, but not much more I think! Luckily it's summer so you won't need a lot of blankets and stuff that take up space!

Good luck! Hope you like it when you see it!
