DD and DS are able to put themselves in a sitting position and also pull up. It was super cute the first morning I walked into their room to find them standing up laughing at each other across the room. However, now every time I lay them down for a nap they would rather play than sleep. They love to throw their paci's, blankets, lovies, etc out of the crib and scream. They laugh at each other and jump up and down and just generally have a ball. It wouldn't be a huge issue except sometimes they get upset when it's naptime and they refuse to just LAY DOWN! And sometimes DS will stand up and forget how to just sit down and he will cry until someone comes and lays him back down. Then he'll do it again. And again. And again. It's really throwing our schedule off because by the time they FINALLY go to sleep, it's almost time for them to be waking up.

    Any advice?

Mine did this for about a week or 2 and then stopped. It only took them a couple of days to figure out how to get back down. It's just a phase.

Its just a phase. They just learned new thing, too excited! Lol. They will learn how to get down soon. There's not much you can do. Still put them down for nap and keep them on until nap time is over. U might change nap schedule bait if needed. Hang on there, it will get better.

I'm with the school of thought that it's a phase. They learned how to stand. "Yippppeeee! So let's do whatever we can with this new skill. Let's throw all our toys out. That's FUN! Let's stand up! Yay!"

Crap. I have no toys in my crib. And I don't know how to sit down.

    WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

In comes mommy/daddy to the rescue. Thus interrupting them, making them possibly cry louder to get out, etc etc.

Ignore them. The novelty will wear off. They will learn to sit back down. And they will go back to sleeping.

And *if* by some chance it keeps up, you could split them up for a time period, if that's an option.

    It will get better.
