Twins were born in May. We moved from VA to PA in June to be close to family for help and support. My DH herniated a disc in his back in July, had surgery Wednesday and the twins are not sleeping!!! We had to move into my parents because of money issues and I still havent found a good job yet!!! Does it ever get better???????????

 everything is SO much harder when you are sleep deprived. Even if the babies aren't sleeping through the night, can you take shifts so you get some uninterrupted sleep?

    BTW, Welcome!!!

I'm sorry you're dealing with all this. Hopefully, the babies will be the type that learn to STTN early and will begin that soon.

I just wanted to send lots of  your way. I have a disc that herniates in my lower back if I lift or bend wrong. I had one flare up a few weeks ago and had to get a cortisone shot and have been on Vicodin and muscle relaxers since. It is slowly getting better, but it sucks.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers to have the strength to get through taking care of the babies mainly by yourself and in luck of finding a job. I thanked my husband every day for a week when I couldn't lift or hold Max & Lily.

I am SO SORRY!!! You've certainly had to deal with a lot in the past few months. As far as help, do your parents help at all? If not, can they at least help until your husband's back is healed?? In the meantime, I will be praying for you. I hope that you can find a job that you like & that allows you maximum time with your kids

Pick them up and hand them to him and then go to bed. ;) In all seriousness, I hope he gets better soon. Can you put them in a bouncy and have him feed them and then at least you can get some rest. Can your parents help out for a bit? Hang in there.
