My twins look so different. I swear if they weren't mine, I would think they are different ages. I was just wondering if any of your twins have significant weight differences....or at least look like they do?

My boys have a significant weight difference. Jake was born at 5 lbs. and Ben was 3lbs.13oz. At their 9mo. check up Jake weighed in at 21lbs3oz. and Ben was 16lbs10oz. I don't remember their heights right off hand but you can definitely tell their is a big difference. Almost 5lbs difference is alot to me. The ped. reassured me that Ben was growing and doing fine just at his own curve. You'd think Jake took all his food from him, but Ben is my one that eats like a horse!!! What gives??? It is so hard not to compare them but when you see them together all day long it is just dang hard not too :D

My girls have weight differences. Kira has always been bigger, she usually wighed about 2 or 3lbs heavier when they were younger and was always a little taller. She also wore one size bigger. Now that they are older she is about 1-2in taller and about 5lbs heavier. Everyone thinks she is older (which she is by a min), by about a year or so. Most people are shocked when I tell them they are twins (I don't usually get the are they twins question a lot). Everyone is different and grows in different ways.

Yes, we have a significant weight difference here too! Evan weighs about 25 1/2 pounds and Ava is just over 20 lbs at 11 months. We have always had a difference of at least 2 pounds, except at birth. People are always asking if they are twins, and seem shocked when I say yes!

Same here... up until around 6 months they were only around a pound difference, but Nicholas is now 21 pounds and Olivia is 17 pounds. People also seem surprised when they ask if they are twins.

I Got them weighed at there 1st year appointment and Sophie 16lb 4oz and Jack weighed 24lb 2oz!! That is nearly and 8lb weight difference between them! Also Jack is a couple of inches taller than Sophie too. They were only born a 1lb apart but everytime you get them weighed the gap between them just gets bigger. I have been asked hundreds of times if they are twins and when i say yes i always get the same response REALLY?! x

Ava is just over a pound more than Alex. Its been this way since they were born.

They don't even look like siblings! Everything about them is different, its kind of scary!

Colby was always bigger than Keegan - heck he looked like he was stealing Keegan's food
As long as they are growing on their own curve there is nothing to worry about

Just take a look at my avatar  . Jack weighs over 23 lbs and Hannah weighs about 16 1/2 lbs. He's just a big baby even his hands and feet are huge but I love my chunky monkey he's so cute.
