Why won't my kids behave for the Christmas Card pics?

ha! That pic is seriously cute! I'd love to get that in the mail....

I have the same problem. I dress my kids up, they're playing, dancing and smiling, then the camera comes out and DD decides she wants to give the "stone face". Ugh! We'll be on attempt #3 this weekend.

I think the best cards are the unposed one's, that's when you get to see their real personalities come out. For ours we had to do all 3 separate b/c my 2yo can't hold both of the girls by himself, plus he'd prob push them over just for the fun of it. I love the pict too bad you can't see you daughters face :)

If you have several pictures like that you could possibly combine a few pictures and make one! That is seriously cute though!

I love it! The imperfection is what makes it perfect! That goes for many things in life!

Don't worry about it. I would so send it. That is coming from someone who gets all witchy when I try to get the "perfect" picture. So far it hasn't happened. Mine give the duh, drool face or the "she is killing me, torture face" <_<

Suzy, I laughed at the one of your girls playing in the garland and one lifting up her dress, haha! The pictures of them leaning back to back are great! So cute!

I might have to make a collage card and include the rascal pic I posted here. It is so like my DD.

Here's a shot from our "attempt" at getting a Christmas card photo. I seriously thought this might have to be good enough. . .

I think it's adorable. If you go from face to face, each one is quirkier than the next -- each in a really cute way, of course!

Your picture is so funny, I would send that one out! I didn't get mine back yet, but I went and had mine done and my 2 year old screamed the whole time. So in the best picture the babies are looking at the camera confused and my oldest is sitting in the background crying, face full of tears. That is the exact picture that everyone is getting....it sums up my children perfectly right now.

I tried for two days to get a picture of my boys together. There was no way that would happen. I ended up doing them seperate which was still very hard since Jake is crawling and won't sit still. I got my cards from Walgreens 20 for $9.99. You can choose up to 4 photos for your card. I did two:

Oh my gosh! That pic is just adorable! Send it!

And we have to actually go back to get more professional pics taken tomorrow because the girls refused to smile today! LOL

LOVE IT!!, Our best one had DD (2.5yo) picking her nose, and we sent it out anyway.

I can sympathize. I have the same problem. Last year it took over 25 shots before I got anything remotely decent. Ugh.

My avi was the best XMas pic from their 1 yr. photos  . We went with it b/c it was much more convenient than trying again and we had been having very busy days/weekends. That said, it was much better than last year's. Last year we had taken 75 or so shots too!!! Now I wish that last year we had gone with individual photos in the card, like Judy showed.
