why does the SAME twin wake up first ALL THE TIME

my LO's have been napping well. YAY, lol
HOWEVER one of them always wakes up early and the other LO stays asleep for sometimes an hour more! WHAT GIVES!

 

Some babies just require more sleep than others. If its not bothering your schedule at all, enjoy your extra snuggle time one on one I have one that wakes up about 15 mins before his brother and I think he does it to spend time with me alone

 

I agree, some kids just need more sleep than others.

 

True, my DS has always been the one who is up first in the morning and after nap time. He is just the one who does not need as much sleep as DD.

 

I have boy girl twins and some of their traits are so opposite. She is the one who wakes up early in the morning, since the time change (grrrrr) she wakes up about 5:30 am. He is the one who wakes up first from naps. She would sleep longer for naps. Weird!

 

My Jake always needed more sleep than Ryan. I just enjoyed the one on one time since I rarely got it.

 

It's just the way they're wired. My boys are almost 4, and one of them is still always the first to wake up. If anyone is going to wake in the middle of the night, it's still going to be him (rarely, but when it happens, it's still him!). He also takes the longest to fall asleep.
