    Hi Heather,

I was the same way and the feeling didn't go away for a few weeks. My babies were born premature and were in the NICU for 6 weeks, so I thought it was just the fact that I didn't have them with me even though they were born. However, maybe not? Being pregnant does give you that speical feeling you can't get any other way. I keep telling my husband this can't be it and I want to experience it one more time.

I felt the same way. I think it's because I had such an awesome pregnancy and after 5 years of trying and finally getting pg, I was just so excited and amazed that I was caring not only one life inside of me but 2! I really did miss being pg when they came out. There is no experience like it in the world. I think it depends on your pg also cause my one friends puked her brains out 3-4 times a day for 3 solid months and she couldn't wait for her pg to be over. Who could blame her?

Anywho...NO, you are not strange. Many many women feel the same way you do. In fact, many woman become extremely depressed from it. I'm sure there is a name for it but can't recall it.

I had hyperemisis for the entire pregnanct=y (some days better than others) and I STILL want to do it again. I said I wasn't too sure but now I agreed we'd try again in 2008 - 2009. DH wants as many as nature affords us. I'd love another set of twins [IMG]

I felt the same way at your stage! I still sometimes miss it. Being pregnant with twins does make you feel special and now that is gone. Now you are just a milk producing care provider!

For me, my OB's office became like a family. It really hurt when I realized I wasn't going to see them anymore!

I've had 4 pregnancies (5 children) and loved it each time. There really is something completely unique and wonderful about it. I also miss it and am a little sad that it's not going to happen again (we can't fit anymore kids in the van). And even with the sleepless nights and the extra laundry and the scariness of such a vulnerable, tiny little thing, I'll miss the tiny baby thing, and each step of the way. Knowing they're my last makes me a bit misty eyed every so often.

Pregnancy, especially with multiples, is a pure miracle. The only thing I didn't like about having twins was having 3 kids but only 2 pregnancies. I loved being pregnant and we're done having kids so I'll never be pg again [IMG]
