Why do I feel so FAT (big)!

I realize that I am not in the best of shape, but I"m only 8 weeks (tomorrow) and I feel like I am at least 15 weeks!! I feel like my belly is really showing! My appt. is Tuesday.

I felt big early on this time too. I can tell you that I didn't fight the maternity clothes!! I figured I wanted to be comfortable! I guess you just get bigger faster since everything is already stretched out.

Yay! Will you have an u/s on Tuesday? Is there a possibility of another set of twins?

 

I think I'm just feeling fat. I doubt I will have an ultrasound on Tuesday. I highly doubt it is multiples since no fertility drugs were used this time. Although I've been having dreams that it is identical quads!!! All boys of course! Yikes! :80:
I'm certainly going to push for an early ultrasound, but don't want to get my hopes up too high!

 

Oh, I hope you do get an u/s on Tuesday...keeping my fingers crossed for you!!! I've been REALLY bloated this pregnancy. I never felt thta way with the twins. I am 11.5 weeks, but I feel like I'm 5 months. I've only gained like 1-2 lbs. in the past 3 weeks (I had the flu in there) and the same bathing suit I had on 3 weeks ago...I put it on today b/c we are taking the girls to the pool and it's SO tight and I totally "look" pregnant in it...although, anyone else would just think I'm a fat girl...lol!!!

Plus, I'm 25 lbs. over my pre-preggo weight with the twins, so I think that adds fuel to the fire to.

I had bloating big time this time around, but none with the twins or really at any other point in my life.

Also, for what it's worth, I, too, dreamed I had quads before my u/s. It's only one. I think it's just are deep down fears coming out in our subconscious

 

That's funny! I had a dream the other night that I had Julianna...and twin boys too!!! I was like, "Why didn't the doctors know there were three in there????" And we had no boy names ready!! LOL

 

I wish I had the answer because I feel the same way. I have felt so bloated this time.

 

I'm only like 7 weeks, and I just dug out my maternity jeans. My regular jeans are a little tight when I sit down.

 

I was the same exact way... in fact, it wasn't until the past few weeks that I *finally* felt like I wasn't as big as I was when I was carrying the twins.
