why cant they just get sick together

when i got home from work yesterday to find V burning up with a fever. After several attempt i manage to bring it down just for it to flare up again at about 9.30 last night. So we start again, and eventually when V fell asleep , i recon out of exhaustion more than anything else, at about 3 am. JUST as i was about to finally try to get about two hours sleep i hear the awfull gurgling of another baby getting sick and A had a fever. I slept nothing at all and today feel like the living dead. i actually wonder what i said in all my e-mails today. gosh i hope they make sence. :huh:
But today, THEY ARE FINE, SLEPT THE WHOLE DAY AND I AM FALLING ASLEEP IN MY SUPPER. couldnt they just get sick at the same time and let me get some sleep... <_<

 

I hear your pain. My girls had the chicken pox last year. The second one came down with it on the day the first one was cleared to go back to daycare!!!

 

In our house it always seems like B catches something, has it for 4-5 days, THEN J gets it. Never happens at the same time. SO that means we're all stuck in the house for about 2 weeks. It gets REALLY frustrating! I totally feel your pain!!! :hug: Hope everyone recovers quickly!

The way I look at it is a sick baby needs extra mommy cuddles and if they are always sick at the same time, they won't get that extra cuddle time. Nothing makes sleep deprivation easy, but if you think of it as extra special one on one time, it makes it a little easier to swallow.
