Why are they Daddy's perfect angels?

I was gone for the longest I have ever been gone. I was out Friday evening before they went to bed and I did not see them again until yesterday afternoon. So DH was in charge of giving them 3 meals and getting them bathed and into bed one night (he does this alot but usually I am there). Anyway, he said there was not one disagreement, temper tantrum, or not eating. What?? I guess I need to leave the house more often.

FWIW, DH always tells me they eat like champs for him, are always happy, and there is little to no fighting. Why then do they want to save it all for me??? <_<

Mine do that too. <_< My reasoning is that they are more comfortable with me and therefore act like usual. :pardon: I'm with them all day, everyday so they couldn't be good THAT long! Other then that, I don't know!!

It's a comfort thing. They have you more often. My kids do it too... Drives me nuts.

Mine USED to do this, but now are cranky & whiny with Dad too. :winking0009: They are EXCELLENT however with him on walks; not a peep from either one for 45 mintues. With me? They start whining at minute 1 in the stroller. It stinks, but that's why they invented walkmans! :)

Mine do that too! I don't get it, but I think it is common.

Mine do it too! I agree it's a comfort thing. They are "little angels" when the grandmas watch them too. It sort of makes me cringe everytime someone says it actually!
