I was changing Michael on the changing table ...it was an awfully messy poopie. I was wiping, but the wipes I was using were kind of dried out. The wipes ended up just smearing and moving around the mess. (sorry it that is TMI). So in frustration I said, "Oh crap!" Now the babies are saying it over and over again. They both heard me and now go around saying, "crap..crap...crap" I tried to modify it and say, "Oh..mommy said umm CUP, yes OH CUP, OH CUP". They didn't buy it!

I am so dreading the day I slip up and they catch me. Just today I said, "Aw, come on!" about another driver who just had to get in front of me then slammed on his breaks. Trent immediately repeated it over and over copying the intonation and everything. Of course, DH laughed which made him keep going.

It could be worse...my oldest has started calling my DH a "punk-a$$"
I have no idea where he got that word from.....

FWIW - I didn't call my DH that for my DS to learn...but it is a word I have the habit of saying. Just DS decided to use it on my DH. He wasn't very happy with me.

Nolan says "Oh Crap" all the time. I know I have said it when I drop something basically so I don't say "Oh sh1t". Not sure which is worse......

    Funny!

One night DH and I were having an arguement while we were eating dinner and I said " you know what, you an a-hole Kody". They must know that Kody is Daddy because Collin looks over at DH and says "a-hole daddy" clear as day. Way to be on my side son! lol He repeated it 2-3 more times then forgot about it.

As ashamed as I am, I got into a fight with DH one day, anger got the best of me, and I called him a F-cking jerk. Well, Mackenzie heard it and a few days later said to me, "Daddy's a f-cking jerk." First, I tried not to laugh, because it sounded cute coming out of her mouth. Than I told her it was not nice to say, and mommy never should have said it. She repeated it a couple more times, but after a week stopped.

I hardly ever curse in front of them, but DH does it all the time. I'm suprised they don't swear more.
