Whole milk with DHA

I have a question about whole milk. My husband and I are trying to cut grocery costs. Currently we have been buying the Horizon Whole milk with added DHA/Omega 3 for my son (DD is on Rice milk). Going to regular whole milk would save us $35 a month. Just curious what kind of whole milk you all use. Also....does anyone know of any good vitamin supplement if we go to regular whole milk? Thanks for your insight.

We just regular whole milk, the Vitamin D kind I think. The girls aren't on any other vitamins, sorry.

 

We just use regular vitamin D whole milk you can buy anywhere. At that age a good vitamin in polyvisol.......but mine are starting to get to the age where we can take flintstones.

 

We have always gotten the organic milk. When they were 1 it was whole milk and after 2 it is 2%. Organic is about $5 a gallon here. We could save some money by switching to regular, but DH and I just aren't quite comfortable with that yet.

 

Kathy, I use the EXACT same milk and I absolutely know that it's a splurge, but I'm just not ready to give it up yet :blush:

 

We use organic whole milk and I try to make sure we have plenty of Omega 3 in our diet - fish, leafy greens like spinach, and flax. I believe the body absorbs it better from regular food than additives.

 

we use plain ol' vitamin D whole milk - and they don't take other vitamins as it bothers their stomachs...
