Who took my brain?

Today I did something really stupid. I know I'm not the only one out there who is affected by "mommy brain" so let's hear your stories!

I brought home groceries yesterday and took the bag with Zout (spot remover), dryer sheets and bath soap upstairs (where our laundry room is) and left it till this morning when I had time to put it away. I reach in and take out the dryer sheets to see the box is wet! The Zout lid came loose and leaked. I set it in the washer (which was empty) and proceeded to get my dryer sheets out of the box and then wash my hands. I completely forgot about the bottle of Zout. After I changed the boys into their clothes for the day, I threw a load of towels in the wash. When I went to move them to the dryer, much to my surprise, there was a bottle of Zout (now with the lid completely removed!) on top of my very clean wet towels. :gah: At least it wasn't a crayon in the washer!

What have you done lately that made you miss your brain?

Mines not too bad, I used the rest of the milk and then put the carton back in....something I'm sure the boys will get pretty good at doing;)

I've gone to the store and forgot something important..... like my purse. That is only one of my moments. I've had chronic forgetfulness since the pregnancy.

Gosh, i am so dumb at times! I am in so much of a rush to clean up so i can get a minute to sit down while the girls nap.. i have placed dirty nappies in the laundry and thrown spoons in the bin and then spent hours searching for the missing cutlery lol wacko!

I managed to wash a load of baby clothes with a poopy disposable diaper in there somewhere. Luckily it only took one more wash to remove the tiny pieces.

I went to paint our rental unit. When I got there I realised that while I had paint and brushes I had forgotten drop sheets and anything to clean up with.

If that wasn't bad enough as I was walking down the stairs I realised I had forgotten to take the keys to get in that my DH had reminded me 3 times to take.

The rental is an hour away from my house :(

My babies are now 2 surely it should have come back by now!

I thought I'd jump in. My boys are 9 days old and still in the Progressive Care Nursery, so we've been running back and forth to catch most of their feeding times. But, I tried to make a phone call with our digital camera yesterday. Needless to say, my 5 year old thought it was hilarious.

Yep, my brain is missing too! I completely forgot about Summer Institute (teacher training for our district)starting this week. One of my friends sent me a text saying, where the heck are you? I was still in my pjs wondering what she was talking about until it dawned on me. Then I got online to check when the first day of school was...didn't want to miss that one, lol.
