Who is enjoying age two?

Just want to say this first, I am not trying to make anyone who's having a hard time feel bad. I've had hard days where I felt like crying and we do have our frustrating moments (Ainsley's irrational tantrums drive me up the wall). But on the whole, I really am enjoying two so far. They come up with new things all the time, are inventing little games and songs, and really using their imagination. Most of the time, they listen to me and are fairly well behaved. We can be a bit more flexible now with nap and bedtime, so it's easier to do things without worrying about getting home on time.

I hope I'm not setting myself up for disappointment and it all falls apart at three or something!

I think 2.5- now has been the most challenging for us. I'm hoping that when we usher in 3 next month it will also bring some good phases with it.

I really enjoy it except for at sleeping times :D and during tantrums!!

It's getting more challenging as we near 3 though!!

i LOVED age two!!! I was totally expecting it to be horrid, but it was a blast for me! There were seom hard parts, but by and large, I enjoyed it. Now...as for falling apart at age three...well that's exactly what happened!!!

For us two was better than one and three is even better. They are still challenging at times of course (I don't really expect an end to that) but in general I get such a kick out of them and am really enjoying the funny little people they are.

At this point, I totally love it.

I have heard a lot of people say that 2 is great, it's 2.5 (or 3, or both) that is awful. But when I say this to DH, he tells me not to borrow trouble. So I will just enjoy this age for as long as it continues to be enjoyable.

Does this means this new terrible 2 is the new 3? Just kidding!

I often wonder how much of it is a parent's perception. I would say that 2 is loads of fun so far even though they really put me through the paces. Same deal with the first year.

I have not minded 2 y/o with either of my first two but am expereincing the terrible two's for the first time with the twins. Count your blessings.

My girls will be two next month, and I think the last few months have been the most fun for us. They are talking up a storm and learning so much - it's so fun to watch them grow up! I have heard that 3 is worse than 2 - and it sounds like maybe that's true from the previous posts!

I like 2 so far. I wasn't so crazy about 12-18 months. 2 is good, knock on wood. ;)

We're getting close and though DS can be a little, shall we say, stubborn... it is fun for the most part.

I enjoyed the first half, but the second half has had its share of "challenging" moments. ;)

Compared to #1 the twins have been a piece of cake. My oldest was really worse at 3 so I am still dreading it coming. My 2nd born was a breeze and never had a stage I found difficult. Katie is a bit more on me than Joshie as she's my handful but so far I can say Im not having the hard time I envisioned with 2...I think #1 paved a way for just about anything to be easier lol

That's how it was for me. Besides the newborn phase, 12-18 months was the most frustrating.

Mine aren't 3 but I am loving their little personalities (ok sometimes BIG personalities)... I feel the same, every stage will have challenges but I have enjoyed every minute since 12 mos... the first year I wanted to die...

Age 2 has never seemed bad to me either. All the kids in my family fare pretty well and it's cute because they are learning so much. :) It is age 3 that is the terrible one for us.

I'm really enjoying age 2 with MIKAYLA! She is so willing to learn, like a little sponge. It is VERY hard with Michael as you saw in my "leash poll". I hope 3 is better. So I am 1/2 way enjoying the age of 2. *sigh= I feel bad that I am enjoying Mikayla's company so much better than Michael's.

two was great. Three is a nightmare. I am not enjoying it at all. Sometimes, I ask myself "what happened to my little angels?"
