I'm curious. Who here has exclusively pumped the longest? I know it's not me, but I feel like I've been doing this forever. 3 months, 1 week, 3 days and counting!

:bow2: WTG momma!!!! I did not ep but pumped at work until mine were 15 months and I hated that pump!!!!! I know on Kellymom.com there are some long term ep'ers, but not any with twins that I know of.

No idea, Beth. I was thinking I would go to six months. I'm just shy of five months now.

I'm just weaning off the pump now, pumping at most once a day at almost 10 months. But, I've had to supplement all along -- my babies got about 50/50 EBM and formula for about 8 months, and then slowly less EBM over the past couple months.

I really wanted to do it for a year, but just couldn't get there...

It does tend to take over your life, doesn't it?

I've been at it almost 10 months. I've seen some ladies go a full year here. My friend who's baby was born last April has been at it almost a year. She's been an inspiration to keep going.

I thought I remembered someone pumping for 18 months? Can't remember who though. I pumped for two months straight (off an on at other times), but even during those two months I nursed at least twice per day. You ladies who pump are awesome!

I'm at just over 5 months and intend to make it to six and reevaluate. We supplement with formula since they were a couple months. I had surgery then and my supply dropped and never came back to what it was. Slowly my supply has gone down to where they get 50/50 bm and formula. Although I have been successful at boosting my supply recently and I'm able to give them more bm.

I don't know what I intend to do. It is such a loaded question. Part of me wants to persevere and another part is ready to quit all the time. My DD loves her bm bottles though and sometimes refuses formula. I don't think I can make it a year though...

Not me. I wanted to go 6 months, but I didn't make it. When I was THINKING about stopping-I would get upset and feel guilty-and then when I did stop-it felt GREAT! I pumped for 5 months and 5 days. I pumped a week after that because I had been leaking, so I guess 5 months and 6 days! ;)

I didn't exclusively give b/m. I didn't pump enough. We fed formula at night only in the beginning-for a good while, then did formula during the day. But honestly, the only real time they had formula was when we went out places.

I think any amount of time of pumping is amazing! It is NOT easy to say the least.

Now I am worried about b/fing/pumping when we have another one. I want to try b/fing. There were latching issues, and I have flat nipples(never realized it until I was watching the hospital baby channel and saw a woman b/fing! Boy-mine are non existent! ), on top of chasing after two toddlers! So I may be back here looking for help!

Just over 4 months here. Not sure how long I plan on going - just kind of taking it a week or so at a time. So far so good though I pump 4 or 5 times a day.

I exclusively pumped for my DD Addison for 12 months.

I nursed Ella but was pumping while at work for her for 12 months as well.
