I'm giving my brother our stroller because he has an 18 month old and a newborn. Since my kids were always the exact same size, I never really found out who's suppose to be in front, the bigger one or the smaller one?

I put DS in the front (he is bigger)because every time I have ever put him in the back, he pulls the canopy part down (the one in front of him) towards him and also taps DD in the head. Works well for us with him in front.

I put baby "a", Alivea in the front (she's the smallest) and baby "b", Kaytlin in the back. Kaytlin is more of a "touchy" baby and likes to lean way out and grab anything she can get. Alivea just sits there and takes it all in.

I think I remember reading in book that came with it that heavier child goes in front to prevent tipping here is copy of owner manual for the graco duo glider that describes under warnings to always place the heaviest child and or child infant seat combo in front seat.

My stroller's manual also said to put the heavier child in the front.

Yep, heavier child in front and put them in first. And my directions also say to take the child in the back out first to prevent the stroller tipping.

I never worried much about putting the "heavier" baby in the front considering there isnt much of a weight difference between them.

Oh My!! I guess I didn't read my manual. I always put the heavier one (only couple of pounds though), in the back as I felt like I had better control that way, and just took whoever out 1st.. well I guess they've survived it now, we don't really use the stroller anymore. Although I think I will be reading the manuals better from now on.
