Who do you think will cry first, me or him?

I've been informed by my six year old that he is staying home tomorrow, he isn't getting on the bus. LOL. I told him he had to do dishes if he stayed home. So who do you think breaks down first tomorrow me or him? I cannot believe my baby is getting on a bus and going to 1st grade tomorrow. I just had him, I swear. I still feel like I am winging it with parenting, how can he be old enough for school?

No tears were shed and when I offered to drive him this morning, he rolled his eyes at me and told me "no, I am riding the bus".

My friend who works at the school texted me and told me he is doing fine.

I wish ours went as well .. Jesse had a major meltdown and the principal ended up escorting him to class since he wouldn't let go of me !
