Whites of eyes look blue question

Is it normal for the whites of babies eyes to have a blue tint to it? I've noticed this in my ds before, but today they look extra perriwinkle colored. I tried looking up blue sclera and got all kinds of technical info I couldn't really understand, and he really doesn't seem to have other symptoms, so I thought I'd ask if anybody else's children's eyes ever appear blue?

my girls whites look kind of grey. as time goes by they get lighter. i asked the pedi she said it was normal. it scared me when i first noticed it.

 

Oh my gosh, thank you for this! I wondered the same thing as my girls eyes had a blue/grey tinge to them.

 

I think that it is normal b/c as my grandmother who had 5 kids was holding one of the boys, she said "itsnt it great when they're so young how the whites of their eyes are a blue color?" I said..."yeah..." and never thought of it again. so now at 8 months just about they're pretty much white. I think it's normal.
