Just curious what people will say. My girl seems so much easier, I can lay her down awake and she will fall asleep on her own, content to be in a swing, likes to be held but doesn't demand it, fusses for awhile before really crying, and sleeps much better. She is my Twin A.
I wonder if this is a girl verus boy thing or maybe a twin A versus B thing for those with same gender pairs.

My "easy" baby is definately my DD ~ Twin B :) DS (Twin A) is more demanding and just always wants more attention.

[SIZE=10pt]My DD, Twin A is much more demanding then her brother. She loves/needs/wants to be held, rocked to sleep, etc all day. DS on the other hand is content anywhere. The only time he really fusses is when he's wet, hungry or over tired.

I have twin girls and my baby A(Ava) is more active than her sister (it was this way in the womb also) but she is easier than her sister. Addison (baby B ) is a bit more relaxed BUT that's only if I am holding her - she will not let me put her down or hand her to anyone except my 8 yr old I wish I had it in me to homeschool the kid - he is a big help!!

Karina, my baby A, is easier than her brother.

When Kevan --baby B-- gets upset about something, he cries as if his heart is breaking, with tears streaming down his face, and it quickly escalates.

Karina almost never cries that way. When she's fussing, we hear, "Wah. Wah. WahWah," on the monitor, and that's about it, LOL. It's like she just wants to make her presence known, lest we forget about her...

My two switched back and forth. Sierra (Baby B) was the needier baby but they switched at about 1.5 years old and then every 3-6 months from then on. They definitely both take on a role though as they are almost never both needy or both "easy"

My twin A (girls) is much easier, but I wouldn't say that twin B (boy) is high maintenance, just slightly higher ;)! My girls are very similar ... mellow, easy going ...

My twin A/girl was easier as an infant. Now they are about the same!

My girls take turns for who is more demanding and who is easier. When they were tiny, twin A was my high maintenance baby, but now that she is rolling around and able to play with toys, she can play by herself for quite awhile. Twin B was such a mellow baby, but now she gets upset if she can't get what she wants immediately. I'm sure it will go back and forth forever!

The girls are pretty equal in this regard. Just when I think one is going to be more high maintenance than the other they switch. The biggest difference that hasn't changed though is that Maisy is more active, and Keira is okay with just hanging out (and interestingly enough, that's the way they were in my belly--Maisy kicked like a soccer player all the time).

It always seemed like Twin A, my son, was a more mellow baby while his sister Twin B was my drama queen. Well, the times are changing ... If I'm doing stuff and they are on their playmat ... DD will play happily and quietly while DS screeches like a vulture. Its this new thing he is doing ... he's not crying ... I think he is just trying to get my attention, but seriously, he sounds like a vulture. I laugh every time he does it, and then he starts to laugh.

I have twin boys. Twin A is DEFINTELY the harder one. He was very high needs as a small baby. And now, he's "go go go", gotta have it now, VERY active. Twin B is very laid back.

Mine have been switching back & forth on everything since the beginning! For a long time, DS was twin A, but at birth he was twin B (they'd shifted positions).

In the early weeks, he was by far the more difficult baby, much fussier, not as good a sleeper, hated tummy time; DD was mellow and laid back.

Now they each have easy/hard aspects. DD is easy to put to sleep, never cries going to sleep unless something is actually wrong (hunger/gas/poop), and has slept through the night 4 days in a row now; DS is easy with playtime, pretty good at entertaining himself without fussing.

DD is difficult in that she is an UBER mommy's girl, can be very clingy (when I take them for a walk in the stroller, I wind up putting her in the Baby Bjorn for at least half the walk most times), needs more attention, and is very inflexible about how long she can stay awake without a meltdown - heaven help you if you don't put her down for a nap 1.5 hrs after she last woke up! DS is more difficult when it comes to sleep - cries more before naps, takes shorter naps, wakes up earlier in the morning, still takes 2 night feedings...

And I'm sure all this will keep changing again and again!

I can honestly say that there is no "easier" baby. We call them squeaky wheels and they both have days where they are it. There are no set number of fussies that one baby has. They are both easy going but still up at night Maybe I'm lucky about them not being fussy and unlucky with their sleep patterns!

Neither! LOL, mine seem to have times of the day where one will be "easier" than the other. Mia, my twin B is fussier later in the day whereas Melanie, my twin A is fussier during the night/early morning. They usually take turns crying- so somedays it feels like I have one big colicky baby! haha

At that age I would have to say my Twin B which was Trevor. He was so easy going. But now they are the exact same.

I think it's just random. Also, it switches around depending on what stage they're in. Mine are both girls -- Sarah is baby A and Amy is baby B. As newborns, Sarah was easier. But then around 5 months, Amy started getting mobile and Sarah started getting frustrated, and Amy was easier for awhile. In general, I think Sarah is the more mellow baby, but she is also more stubborn. So it balances out in the long run.

my girls have also had their "moments" of being the more challenging one but overall I'd have to say that Lorien (baby B) has been my more consistent, higher maintenance gal.

My twin A started out as a little fireball. He was so colicky! Twin B on the other hand was so chilled out - I used to forget about him! At four months...they switched!! I think they like to keep me on my toes...
