I am so confused when it comes to double strollers. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really want a double stroller with two infant car seats, but I don't want to spend a fortune. Also do they make convertible car seats for strollers?

For when they were infants, I used the double snap'n'go stroller and that worked great and with their car seats. That was the best thing, I found, for when they were still in their infant car seats. When they got older I did have the graco stroller where one was in back and the other in the front, but they hated it! And so did I! We now have a Combi SBS stroller. :good: Love it. Good luck!!

I have the double snap n go for the infant seats. Then, we have the Maclaren Twin Techno SBS for later. The duoglider was way too heavy for me, I LOVE the Maclaren, it steers REALLY well! And folds up small and it light.

I had and still have and use all the time, the Graco duoglider. You can put the 2 infant carriers in when they are small and still use it after. Mine are 2 and we still use this stroller everywhere. I need a stroller that will fit to get into my oldest DD's school and a SBS would not. I've been very happy with the duoglider!

I have the Graco Duo Glide and I love it. My girls have out grown the Infant carrier car seats so we've moved on to regular car seats and they definitely don't fit in the stroller - sorry.

Thank you everyone. About how many months do your twins outgrow the infant car seats?

I have the double snap`n`go for the carseats and a Bob Revolution DUallie SBS all terrain for outdoor excursions.
When they outgrow their baby seats depends greatly on your seat and on how big your babies are. Most have a weight and height restrictiohn on them. My DD outgrew her Snugride at 4 months becasue she was so tall. This time I bought Safeseats which are bigger!
I suggest that you contact the ladies on the First Year board about strollers too - I found tons of great advice there.
    Good luck!

I have the double snap and go and I love it. It's so easy to use, it's lightweight and the car seats pop in and out of it very easliy. There's also a good amount of storage underneath- and it's got a double cup tray- which I use for their bottles...

I have the Snap N Go and the Duo Glider. If I had it to over I would get the Snap N Go and my carseats (infant ones) and get a big stroller later. The snap n go is so ligth weight and boy does it make a difference!!!

    Good Luck!!

PS I got mine second hand for 60 bucks!

I bought the double snap n go after MUCH research. Be sure to check the list of car seats it will accept because not all of them fit. The Chico Key Fit is not compatible.

We had the double Snap n' Go, and Graco Snugrides. We only used it for four and a half months since DS outgrew his at that point (he was 99th%ile, so know that most babies last in those until 9 mos or so). BUT, I would not change a thing about the way we did things stroller-wise. It was the easiest way for me to get out and about by myself with the twins, which I did often. Then we switched to the SBS Combi Twin Savvy. We still use this stroller and it has served its purpose well. I did not like the tandem stroller (felt like I was driving a limo), so the SBS was a great stroller to graduate to once we were out of our carriers.

graco duoglide is the nicest and cheapest I can find I was really hoping to find a side by side one that snaps two infant seats on but no luck so far

I also have the graco double snap-n-go. I also am getting the Graco Quattro Tour.

The Quattro Tour is suppose to be a little heavy but honestly it doesn't bother me I need to build some muscle anyhow. It is on the of the most compact doubles on the market and I'm almost positive you can use the car seats in both the front and back.

I had the Duoglider and it was great. I just recently got rid of it, but it holds infant seats and then they can sit in it once they outgrow the infant seats. Some say it is heavy, but I never had an issue with that. I got rid of it only because one of my DD's needed a 5 point harness if I was going to continue to contain her in a stroller, so I got a lighter weight SBS with the 5 point harness.

I also have a SBS double jogger that I bought last spring, we use that for walks, the beach, the zoo, etc. Not a stroller I'd use for errands though. It's an Instep Safari.

It really depends. My singleton outgrew her infant carrier because of her height at 6 months. My twins, since they were preemies were in their infant carriers until 12 months. I think most of the infant carries now go to 29 inches and 22 lbs.

I have the double snap and go and absolutely love it, due to it being convenient, lightweight and having a lot of storage space, as other posters have said. Check out local twin sales. I got mine at one for $50 (half the price!) and it was in great condition!

Thank you ladies so much!!! So My FIL and wife bought us two carseats snugride GRACO and bought the snap and go.

We test drove the Baby Trend Expedition stroller jogging... I don't jog, but it's very easy to turn, and seems durable, but we'll see if we get that in the future or not :)

You will love the snap n go - especially in those early weeks while you are recovering. It just makes getting out easier and less of a hassle.
