I've been using the snap n go up till now. But am finding it increasingly cumbersome now that my twins are picking up more weight.

Could you share with me which stroller/s you have and if you like or love them. (that even sounds strange to me!) :rotflmbo: But I'm hoping you understand.

I've been thinking about getting the Chicco C5 Twin stroller (side by side) as I prefer the side by side strollers. But the maximum weight is only 75lb...

    thanks!

After all my research I've decided on the Valco Baby Twin Stroller. Seems like the most durable and versatile to me. :)

We have two: the snap n go and a Bob Revolution Duallie stroller which has a 100 pound limit and is also a side by side. I love it (the Bob) and it is so smooth of a ride for walks, the snap n go is (as you know) very convienient for quick trips...

I had the Peg Perego Twin Aria and well, it worked. I didn't love it. I had barely any sunshade, the basket underneath dragged when anything was in it, and the snack trays didn't have cup holders and weren't wide enough for their bottles or sippies. (Disclaimer: mine would now be a three year old model, they may have made improvments).

I've heard nothing but loyalty from owners of the Combi Twin Savvy.

Have a MacLaren Twin Rally for the car / travelling and a Mountain Buggy Urban Double for walks. Very happy with both.

    Hi Reyna!

I remember reading your posts on the pregnancy forum! How are you adapting to life with twins? :p
Must be very difficult with a toddler too!

After all of our research (and help from other moms on Twinstuff) we are getting the McClaren Twin Triumph side by side for when we are finished using the Snap 'n Go. It holds children up to 55 lbs. on each side. It has excellent ratings and seems more affordable than many of the other SBS strollers. GL!

We love our Mountain Buggy Urban Double. But we do a lot of long walks outdoors. If your main need is for something to take shopping (and something that's easy to get in & out of the car), it's not the one. We have a Maclaren Twin Traveller for that -- originally it was going to be our only stroller (hahahahaha), but it very quickly drove me crazy -- it's terrible on gravel, a tiny bit of slush, or even bumps in the sidewalk.

Same here! I thought I was getting away with one, but ended up with MacLaren and MBUD as well! I still like the MacLaren but it's more for in and out of the store, airports, travel, etc.

I have a Baby Jogger City Series  I still own my Combi sbs but it doesn't do well on uneven pavement.

We have the Bob Duallie too. It's fantastic outdoors. But in the mall or anyplace where you need to get through doors, it can be cumbersome. Other than that, it's really great. Also, it's a bit heavy, but easily folded and unfolded. And great canopies.

I'll tell ya', for a shower gift, a friend of mine got me the Jeep twin stroller (it's not a sbs). I think it was like 130 bucks or something like that. For the mall or walking down narrow streets (we live in a crowded area), it's really great. And it has a huge under carriage thing. If price is something you're looking into, that's a good one to look at.

We are purchasing a carrier that can change from a stroller to a jogger very easily. It is manufactured in Canada but on the website they will tell you where to buy in the U.S. It is very light, sporty looking and easy to pack and takes up not much room. To use it for infants you need to buy two infant slings to go with it. It is a bit more money but we like how it has lots of coverage for the sun and rain and I'm hoping less on-lookers when I'm in the malls. We will tell you later how we like it.....
On the website the latest catalog is at the very bottom of the main page. It tells you the dimensions up and folded, the weight etc. I think they are often sold at high end bike stores. You can even get attachments for skiing, hiking, biking, jogging, strolling.

Thank you!! They grow so fast!!
I just got my stroller in July so they were 21 months! My sister's little boy is 6 months and I put him in there, he looked comfy!! Before the Chicco I had the Peg Perego Aria and it was good when they were smaller but as they grew it became harder to push.

Between my daughter and I we have three twin strollers and two umbrellas. Like you the graco duo glider while a wonderful stroller - was heavy and cumbersome to load and unload. It was nice while the boys were still small and in the infant carriers to just snap them in. I purchased a Combi SBS at the same time my daughter purchased the graco. It was lightweight, easy to fold and boths boys could see out with a view. The drawbacks are now that the boys are older, the seats will not sit straight up but stay at a slight recline. There is no basket space and the canopy is small and offers little shading. As far as convenient - it is that and more. It weighs less than 20 pounds and does a tri fold so will fit in smallest trunk space. It's also a little more difficult to manuever down shopping aisles, however. My daughter then purchased a combi tandem. It's lightweight, does have cup/sippy holders and a bigger basket area, but doesn't feel quite as sturdy as the graco. It's a little harder to elevate to get in and out of doors. The canapies are adequate, but the seats are a tight fit for the boys and they are just at 20 pounds. I use the strollers everyday and if the boys are just wanting to go for a walk, we still use the side by side because they are content to recline slightly. For shopping I now use the combi tandem, but overall if there are two of us we prefer using just the little old umbrella strollers and taking them one on one. Hindsight is 20/20, but if we had it to do over with what we spent for the three big strollers, we could have purchased a more expensive model that would have lasted from infancy on.

If you're not into "cumbersome" I don't recommend the Graco Duoglider. By the time I get my 7-month-old boys in there, my little diaper bag and a few grocery I can barely push the thing, and I'm pretty strong.

We have the Peg Aria Twin and I like the fact that it's only 14 lbs. The babies enjoy being side by side and as far as width goes, it's a little narrower than other side by side strollers. It can fit through most door ways because it's the width of a wheel chair. All newer buildings have to accomodate this width. This stroller is expensive, but I'm in Canada and we have less choice (I drool when I see the selection at target.com but they don't deliver to Canada). This stroller doesn't have decent cup holders and you can't put much in the basket. But it's comfy and reclines beautifully for naps. (my Duoglider only has one reclining seat).

I toyed with the Maclaren Twin Techno but it's $500 in Canada. It also doesn't have trays across the front for the babies and my boys LOVE leaning forward and hanging on to their trays.

I also have two cheap umbrella strollers that I like to use when my husband and I go out together with the boys. They're light as air.

To be honest I don't think there is a perfect twin stroller. Every model I come across has something that isn't great - whether it be weight, bulkiness, poor sun shades...you just have to get the best you can afford (within reason) and deal with a few inconveniences.

I have the Kolcraft Contours® Options™ Tandem. It is large.
It can hold their carseats and infants can sit in the actual seats.
Seats Easily Reverse to Create 7 Different Stroller Options. Children Can Both Face Parent, Face Each Other, Face Forward or Back to Back. The Options Tandem Can Also Be Used with Only the Front Seat so There's Lots of Storage in Back.
    • Infant Car Seat Attachment Fits Most Car Seat Brands on the Market. Additional Car Seat Attachment is Sold Separately to Accommodate Twins!
    • Both Seats Recline for Infant's Comfort
    • Ultra Smooth Ride & Steering with Two 8" Front Single Swivel & 10" Rear Never Flat Wheels
I found it for only $200. It fits my niece who is 3 1/2 yrs. It is large but pushes great, even on gravel. I love it. It doesn't have cup holders or a tray for the kids but I thought it was the best option.
