Which spelling?

We have long decided that our twins names will be Candace Nicole and Cassidy Elizabeth, and we were pretty set with spelling Candace with and "A," the more traditional spelling. However, after looking at the first and last name together I wonder if it looks better on paper with an "I"? Or am I just overthinking this and it looks fine either way!

Candice Nicole Oberdick

Should we change the spelling or should we stick with what we originally liked and agreed to? Also, I wonder how most people spell it if you just heard the name - is it more common to have the "a" or the "i"? I don't want her name to be spelled wrong all the time! Thanks for your advice!

 

I prefer it spelled Candice but it is pretty both ways x

 

I like Candace, but Candice could be Candi, or they both could I guess!! Pretty name btw!

I would say Candice. You could always spell it Kandice. That is the way my aunt spelled her daughters. They have a thing for K's.

 

The most common spelling I've seen is with an "i", but I really like it with and "A'. Both names are adorable- Good luck!

 

I see it mosting Candace. However I like Candice with the middle name and your last name.

 

Both are old englidh legit spelling I myself prefer A

 

I prefer Candace. Something about the "i" looks wrong to me, even though I know it's a perfectly legitimate spelling.

 

When I read the title of your post I thought Candace, but when I opened it and read your name etc, I definately think Candice. I think I've seen Candice more often, I don't think she'll have too much trouble with spelling. Good luck!

 

That happens to be my name and I spell it Kandiss. Just thought I would give you another option.

with your name i prefer it with the a.

I have seen it spelt mostly with i, but i think using the a is more modern and maybe less likely to be shorted to candi, if thats what you preferred.
