I'm going to get the boys one, but I thought I'd ask the experts first which one you have. [IMG] I'm thinking this one looks good:

can they really get "splashy" in the water in this one? It looks crowded on the water side. Oh, and I should mention...I'd like one that I can bring inside during the winter for rice or beans. Also, one that is big enough for two to play around comfortably. thanks!

We have the one you linked and we LOVE it. It's so nice to have the umbrella in the summer to keep the sun off them and the cover is great here to keep out cats, squirrels, etc. It has a drain in the bottom, so it's easy to drain the water and it holds plenty of sand & water. It actually comes with a few small toys, but you'll want to get some more! My DH did screw the bridges down on the water side b/c the kids would get mad when they fell down. Also, you do need a power drill to put it together! I did it myself and it was really quick & easy. It usually goes on sale at TRU in the summer.

I was looking last year and decided to wait for their b-day this year and that one was my favorite. I plan on getting that exact one for their b-day, or maybe their grand-mom might splurge for them [IMG]

We also have that one and the girls LOVE it! Even the older kids next door love playing with it. Highly recommended!! We got tons of use out of this last year and look forward to a couple more.

We opted for the Step 2 Sand Table that is just one bin. You can put sand OR water in it, but not at the same time. We love it, but wish now that we had purchased the combo table like the one you linked.

I forgot to mention that I also really like the Step 2 table b/c it's big enough for both kids to play at without getting in eachother's way. I think we've had 3 or 4 kids playing around it happily [IMG]

My problem with the combo table is that they mix the sand and water. SO, the water gets really dirty fast. Just wanted to let you know!

We have the same one that we got at the beginning of last summer and the kids love it. We actually have never put water in the table and have had sand on both side. The table is still holding up quite well.
