Which potty chair to buy?

Hi Everyone,

Mikayla is getting very interested in the potty. She already pooped once and constantly is pointing to her diaper, saying, "Diaper off, more diaper, pee pee girl, stinky potty." This morning DH said, "I have to go to the bathroom!" So Mikayla ran on ahead of him, went into the bathroom and showed "Daddy" the pottY!!

So, I think we need to get a little potty soon. BUT which one? The musical ones seem interesting.....then again maybe we need to get a potty that looks like a grown up potty. What did you get? What do you think?

Duh!! I just noticed the top where they have a whole section on potty training!! Sorry that this is probably a repeat!

Well i will tell you... that i went and let my daughter pick her own potty out.. Which happened to be the one that looks like a potty and sings.. BUT it worked!!! She loves her potty. I also let her pick out her own panties. It made her feel special...

 

You said she has already pooped once, do you mean in the toilet? If yes, I might consider skipping the potty chair and training on the toilet.

 

I haven't had total success yet, but a few tinkles and poo poo's on the potty and I am doing it all on the toilet with a ring and I'll tell you why... Mostly because it all goes into the toilet and there's no transfer of "hazardous" materials and cleaning parts and pieces AND the toilets.... That was my rationale, I don't know if it's RIGHT, but it's my thoughts.....hope that helps a little!
