There are so many choices? Which potty chair(s) do you have?

It's early to potty train @ 18 m, but after baths each night, they run around naked for awhile. They often hunch over and then a few seconds/moments later, they pee on the floor. They even kinda hunch over a little during the day while wearing diapers and then pee. I think they know it's time. Anyway, I just want to put a potty in their room to see if they want to pee there instead of on the rug. Is that a bad idea? I don't want to pressure them. Thx!

We had the simple blue one you can buy at Walmart. We used that with John for about 1 year off and on before I decided that to really potty train him I wanted him to use the toilet. I got him the cover to put on the toilet and a stool to help him climb up there. Good luck!

I just bought a potty seat for my girls. Like you its early but I want to at least offer it. I was looking into this potty chair, but didn't want to pay s/h on a potty chair. I ended up buying this one. My girls haven't gone in it yet but they really like sitting on it. The seat is really soft, I think that will come in handy as they get older. :)

We just have a ring that sits on a regular toilet and a step stool so they can get up. I was skeptical at first (thought I would have to buy a potty chair), but they get up there just fine.

We got two of these at our multiple club sale last year. http://www.boscovs.com/StoreFrontWeb/Produ...mp;type=Product I think we paid $5/piece for them. I am happy with them because they can act as a potty chair or you can take the top off and put it on the toilet and it acts like a ring with handles they can hold onto. Then the bottom turns over and acts as a stool to use to climb up to the toilet. That's how we use it now. Danielle climbs up onto the stool, turns around and grabs the handles and get herself up there all by herself. Once she gets bigger and can doesn't need the extra help, I will probably get the rings because they are much smaller.
