I am going to buy a playmat/activity center/floor gym for my girls this weekend. All of you that have them, which ones do you have? Do you like them? Do your babies like them? There are so many out there, I don't know which to choose. Can anyone help?

Baby Einstein all the way - they still want to play with it - we call it the 'Happy Star' - nothing else holds their attention as long!

We have the Baby EInstein, too! And, I completely agree with the PP - that star is awesome. We actually use it for tummy time because it keeps them occupied (gives them something to look at) and the music is just long enough for a minute or two on their tummies.

We added a lot of toys to the gym outside the BE stuff that comes with it. You can just keep changing what is hanging from the top.

I got the twins the Tiny Love Gymini based on recommendations here and the boys love it.. it does sound like your good with either BE or TL. At this point they just have one and share it but TL does give a twin discount I believe.

We have the BE as well and my little ones LOVE it. That is funny . . . the "happy star". . . my two little ones will smile back at it! I also like how you can set the music to "motion." Therefore, if they are playing under it and the music stops it will start back when the pull on something. This is a nice feature.

We have both the Baby Einstein with the star and Tiny Love and my boys love the Baby Einstein! They don't care for the Tiny Love one though.

We got the tiny love gymmni (the one with the hand/feet pad that plays music). My babies LOVED it. We started using them around month 2 and just outgrew them 2 weeks ago. We called tiny love and got the twin BOGO. Very much worth the $$ saved!

Baby Einstien!! My girls loved it for a good 6 months. The music and the lights with the star are awesome and they never seemed to get sick of it. I put them under it at least twice a day. We called it the Star Show. Eventually, when they got a bit big, I also purchased the Rain Forest one by Fisher Price. The music for that one is also great and also plays rain forest sounds. There are great things for them to play with that hang which is the only thing I didn't like about the Einstien. Very limited toys to play with come with it but you can hang your own toys as well. When they outgrow laying under it, I think it would make a great wall hanging for their bedroom. Has pictures of different animals and the sun and each picture is labeled with it's name so it could be great for teaching sight words eventually.

We have Tiny Love- I signed up for their multiples program and got two for the price of one (two mobiles-one remote control, one with a light- and two floor gyms for under $100 and no delivery charges.) The boys love all the Tiny Love stuff I have gotten so far.

Thanks for the info. I didn't go yet, but I've been looking at them online. Anyone have an Infantino one (It think that's the brand it was). I saw it at BJ's wholesale and it looked like a nice one.

Baby Einstein here too- My boys still lovetheir playmat. Sometimes they'll sit besides it and play and sometimes they will still lay and stare at that star with the music playing.

Those of you who replied, do you have one or two of the play mat/ activity center/floor gyms? Can they both fit under one?

LOL, well I guess I'm the odd one out..

We bought the Fisher Price Miracles & Milestones Puppy Play Mat..both babies loved it and I liked the fact that the overhead play gym wasnt attached to the mat and the mat doubled as a tummy time mat or quick changing mat..the toys at the top can be moved to the holes down the side to allow babies to play with the same toys while doing tummy time that would otherwise only be accessible overhead. You can also attach other toys that are not the same brand and/or didnt come with the mat..
    It was $39.99 at walmart

For an exersaucer when they get bigger, I HIGHLY recommend the Fisher Price Intellitainer..I looked at all the baby einstein ones etc etc and the Intellitainer is by far the best bang for your buck. Cost me &64.97 on sale at walmart, reg price was 99.99 but it is listed as $70 on the american Fisher Price website. I bought it at 4 months and they still love it at 8 months!
