I'm not familiar with "Super Baby Food."

I have "First Meals." I like that it has recipes for older babies and kids!

But, for the boys' first purees I REALLY like the book "So Easy Baby Food." It really is easy! [IMG] Here's a link: So Easy Baby Food[/URL] http://www.freshbaby.com/buy_our_products/startkit.cfm

I have both. I recommend Super Baby Foods. I think it gives you a better overall picture of what foods to introduce, and what time to introduce them. It also offers a more nutritional approach to feeding in general (what types of food to give, how much and how often), as opposed to just food ideas.

I love the So Easy Baby Food Kit as well. It's perfect for all those first foods and made making baby food a very quick endeavor.

I also have First Meals and it is more of a cookbook with meal recipes in it. It would prefer it for older babies.

I actually use a different one, that I love - not to add to your dilema - but Mommy Made (and Daddy too!) has been a great source of information and ideas for me [IMG]

Super Baby Food was written in 98, right? There hasn't been a newer version?

I have and have purchased many Super Baby Food books for friends. I'm not very good in the kitchen and this book has really given me a lot of info.
It looks like there are only 2 editions, not sure of the years. But does that matter? How much can change in cooking baby food? The web site has a link for corrections to the book.
If you decide to buy this book, I think it is cheapest at Overstock.com, $12.89 + $1.40 shipping.
Good luck and have fun with whatever book you decide!

I used Super Baby Food and liked it a lot! I am not a very cook (my lack of cooking skills is just sad to be honest) but this book was perfect for me. HTH

I really liked Superfoods by Annabel Karmel. Haven't seen the other two.

I recommend Super Baby Food for the first year or so, then First Meals is helpful for toddler and kid meals. I have both and use SUper Baby Food all the time

I have Super Baby Food (2nd edition) and like it a lot. It is easy to read, tells you what foods to introduce and when, and has sample feeding schedules. My pedi actually recommended it too.
