We have our boy name picked out, now we need to decide on hers. Either Camryn or Ryder. What do ya'll think? Which one do you like better?

Out of those 2 I like Camryn better. But to be honest, if I heard it, I would think boy. But seeing it spelled I would think girl.

While I like Ryder it depends on what the boy's name is.
When they are infants people will likely think you have two boys with either of those names (especially Ryder), but obviously once she grows people will see she's a girl. :D
I think it also depends on what you are thinking middle name wise.

Yeah,Camryn is more of a girls name these days anyway,I like that one best! I like it spelled this way>>>> CAMRYNN

I had that on my C girls name list for g/g when I was PG with twins:

    Chloe Danielle and Camrynn Delaney
    Chloe Reece and Calista Riley
    Chloe Paige and Baylea Reece

    What is the boys name?

My b/g twins are Connor Jacob and Chloe Reece!

Congrats and best wishes on the rest of your PG!

I like Camryn... One of my daughters is named "Camdyn" which is very similar. We use "Cami" for a short name which could also be used with Camryn and we get comments on how cute it is all the time :) What is your boy's name?

Camryn. There is a young lady that works for me named Kami. I also went to school with a Kami, but it was short for Kamilla.

Im going to be completly honest because it will hopefully help you in your quest in fidning the perfect names for your twinsters.

If you introduced me to two beautiful twinnies (a boy and girl) and said their names were Kellan and Ryder (with out telling me who is who) i would honestly think Kellan is the Girl & Ryder is the Boy.
Ryder is all boy to me, no aspects of femininity what so ever.

Same scenario as above but with Camryn and Kellan i would still think that Kellan is a girl and Camryn is the boy.
Whilst Camryn is becoming much more popular on girls it still does not change the fact that Camryn is a boys name and it did you know that Cameron (plus any spelling variation) actually means "bent or crooked nose" so the meaning is not that attractive.

But out of those two if i had to pick for your daughter it would be Camryn, because at least these days there is a greater chance she will not be confused as a boy.

If you would like any suggestions with to go with your boys Kellan (which is nice) please ask because i would be more than happy to help out.

    Just for a quick example

Ava: its still very trendy and hip, but there is no denying its a girls name so therefor Kellan will not be confused as the girl rather than the boy. (Plus Kellan and Ava sounds sweet)

Avery: still unisex, but much more feminine than Camryn & Ryder.

    Jordan: same as above
Jordana: a unisex name with a feminine twist

    Morgan: unisex, but more girly

    Ella: (same reasoning as Ava)

    Sophie/Sophia: (same reasoning as Ava)

I really hope i have helped you

    Cheers :D

I do love the name Ryder and would be tempted to use it for a girl - but I do see the pp's point of people thinking Kellan is the girl and Ryder the boy by the names. - In the grand scheme of things though, I guess that does not matter - just go with which ever name YOU love!!! what will their middle names be??

I just want to second that if you said, I have boy girl twins, Kellan and Ryder. I'd sooo think Kellan was the girl and Ryder the boy.

I'd probably be more likely to think Camryn was the girl in the Kellan Camryn combo, but not without a shadow of doubt. If I saw it written then yeah, Camryn = girl. Cameron = boy.

But maybe unisex is what you are going for????

I know at work I often have to call people with names that are unisex and I hate that moment of doubt, like it's disrespectful of me to not know if the person I want to talk to is a man or a women.

I agree with Melissa. Both Camryn and Ryder are very masculine to me. I would go with something much more feminine. What about Camille or Camilla? You end up with the same Cami or Cammie as a nickname?
