Which Dollhouse would you recommend?

Hi Ladies,

I am thinking of buying a doll house for my daughter, Rianna for Easter (I need to keep them busy during Spring/Summer when weather become too hot to go out and play). I will eventually move the doll house upstairs in her own bedroom.

We have the Fisher Price Twin Time doll house, and developmentally Hannah is still a little young for it and she is almost three. We also have the Geotrax, which is also developmentally a little above them (although they love to operate the trains/remotes). I think those are two awesome choices, but I would not expect to get a ton of use out of them for awhile!

Have you thought about maybe the Little People house for your daughter?

 

At the age your kids are my girls had the Fisher Price Little People doll house. When they turned two I debated between the Fisher Price Loving Family Dollhouse (Age 3+) with twins and the Fisher Price My First Doll House (2+). I ended up getting My First Dollhouse because my girls were still putting everything in their mouths at the time and I thought the peices were just to small. They love their My First Dollhouse and I love it because the peices are chunkier and easier for their hands and I was not so worried about them putting everything in their mouths.

 

We got the little people dollhouse for Bella last year for X-mas (she was 19 mos old). She still loves it. They also now have the Fisher-price twin family dollhouse. Both Bella and Camden love it. They will now be 3 in May.

 

Mine also have the Fischer Price My First Dollhouse and love it. I looked at the Twin Time one, but didn't think they were old enough for it yet. The My First is perfect for their age.

 

We gave the First Price Sweet Sounds House (Little People) and they both love it. We got it around 14 months, but it has only been really used since about 20 month to now. They play with it everyday....we will 'upgrade' at 3 to the Twin Time Dollhouse.

My girls got the Fisher Price My First Dollhouse for their 2nd birthday and they love it!

 

I have the Twin Time Doll house and they do love it although...... it is still a bit small for Meghan. I should have went with the My first dollhouse.

Just FYI.

 

Thanks for all of your input.....I'll get the F/P First Doll House and will work on something for Justin for this coming Easter.
