So we have been using the swaddlers since birth.. I have loved them.. They keep the girls really dry. We did try a NB box of huggies and i didn't quite care for the way that they fit them at the time. Now that they are in size 2 of the swaddlers and wetting through those at night, i had to put them in 3 at night... Target doesn't sell the size 2-3 swaddlers in the big boxes, and neither does our local sam's club, they only have the 1-2 there.

I have heard that the pampers cruisers are crap absorbancy wise, is there any insite to this?? Are huggies better after the swaddlers?? The size 3 dipers that im putting the girls in at night are the members mark (sams brand) and im not liking those at all.. They don't seem to keep the moisture away from the girls skin. When i change them in the morning their butt is damp...

I guess im looking for suggestions and insite for the bigger sizes on diapers...

We use Pampers Baby Dry. I probably like the Cruisers better, but they are more expensive. There is a new, higher absorbancy Cruisers that they sell exclusively at Target.

We've tried so many different brands just to fine the ones we liked best. I prefer the cloth diapers we use from time to time, but we use disposables most of the time (just can't launder the cloth full time, not yet anyway, and we don't have enough cloth for all diapering). But I digress. Anyway, here are my thoughts on all the diapers we tried:

Huggies size 3: Nice but leaked a lot and the tabs broke off from time to time when putting on a new diaper.
Pampers Cruisers: Cushy, but expensive and I don't like the added scent.
Costco/Kirkland: A lot like Huggies, leaked, not bad.
Pampers Baby Dry: Really hated the scent, otherwise they were okay.
Huggies Pure & Natural: LOVE these, but can't afford them. They didn't leak, they were soft, they didn't smell funky, they looked nice, just expensive.
Earth's Best: really liked these but dh complained of tabs tearing. About the same price as Pampers & Huggies.
Walmart Parent's Choice: Leaked leaked leaked leaked leaked. Didn't like them.
Mom to Mom: Leaked, probably our least favorite, on par with Parent's Choice.
7th Generation: not bad at all, just expensive and I had difficulty with their online coupon software.
G-diapers: LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! Too expensive to use full-time, but I use now and then and am going to experiment with cloth inserts.

    What we use:
Target Up & Up: Very few leaks, more attractive than most other brands, don't smell, priced just right (about 1/2 the cost of most other brands).
BumGenius3.0 for cloth, but I am liking the G-diapers cloth alternative better.

I loved the Cruisers! Never had a problem with them (other than they were expensive!)
I always tried to use coupons though, either from my grocery store or Target :good:

The diapers we prefer are Luvs, Pampers Cruisers, and Huggies Natural Fit.

I was so bummed when they grew out of the Swaddlers! We're using Pampers Baby Dry now which is working out fine. Haven't tried the Cruisers yet.

we switched to cruisers after swaddlers. i have been completely happy with them, no leaks, seem comfy. i do put DD in one size up at nite because she is a belly sleeper and that prevents any leakage..

We've been using the Cruisers and the Costco/Kirkland. No complaints with either.

We used the swaddlers but then switched to Huggies. Not sure why, my FIL provided all diapers for the first year so I just used whatever he brought me!

We switched to Huggies because Costco sells them. I thought the Cruisers were fine, but they were way more expensive and not worth it to me.

I loved Swaddlers too! But now we use Pampers Baby Dry. We used Huggies for a while, but they aren't as absorbent and and they leaked... plus I think they are kind of rough - my active dd would get rashes between her legs from the diaper (she's sensitive though).
I agree about the comment on the smell of Pampers Baby Dry... it's really strong.

Thanks Lizzybo for the great rundown on all the diapers you've tried - that's really helpful!
